The grip is strong and secure, and the phone stays firmly in place without wobbling. I use it mostly for BTS footage and dual recording, and it works perfectly for that. The build quality is solid, and the red rubber grips add extra protection for the phone. It also attaches easily to my camera’s hot shoe without damaging anything. The media could not be loaded. I wished the phone grip could extend to fit a phone with a phone case and pop socket. Because with the phone case on it looks like it can slip off the holder(shown in video). Of course this is an easy fix, just take off the phone case and the phone is held perfectly fine(shown in photo). My favorite part of this product is that fact that it can rotate in two different points, and has the ability to attach lights at both ends.

This mount exceeded my expectations. It locks my phone in securely, even with a case on, and the cold shoe is a great bonus for lights or mics. I’ve used it on both a regular tripod and a gimbal setup with no issues. Feels professional without being bulky—perfect if you're filming or photographing with your phone.

The base was glued to the adjustment and not functional. It would not loosen to slide into the top mount. I had to break the glue seal and the whole fell apart.

As several have mentioned, the product is sturdy and has the degrees of freedom needed. The gripping pads are secure. For me this holder would be 5 star if the jaws would extend far enough to hold an iphone 16 that is in its case. This product requires the user to remove the case to get the camera into the holder. So, each time the user has to remove the case that is on the phone for normal use, use the tripod mount, and then put the iphone case back on. My case is not easy to remove, so this is a problem in my usage environment.
