    • Impressed with Ulanzi products, holds my Galaxy S23 Ultra.
I must say that I am impressed with Ulanzi products. I bought this ULANZI ST-06S and another Ulanzi tripod mount and both are quite good. This ULANZI ST-06S holds by Galaxy S23 Ultra very well. The grip is pretty firm. Spreading the mount open and closed is easy, but I wouldn't trust the grip on the phone as much as I would on the Ulanze ST-27, which I also have. I would say that my S23 Ultra is just about the limit that the ULANZI ST-06S can hold, width wise. This mount is good, but I like the Ulanze ST-27 better ... show more

    • This is nice but I have concerns
It's lightweight, it holds my phone and allows me to hook a microphone to the cold shoe Mount to make a great portable recording rig using my phone is the camera. Unfortunately there's no tension adjustment on the parts that rotate or swivel, you cannot completely lock those in the place and since I guess those go off of some sort of friction I guess they could potentially wear out eventually, let's just say your phone and microphone are kind of on the heavy side, you might have some issues with things moving when you don't want them to I'm using a tiny lightweight shotgun microphone and the Galaxy s20 something ultra phone, I don't know if it's the 24 the 25 whatever it is one of those things and it's fine but I really wish you could tighten those swiveling and rotating parts and lock them into place. I don't think it's going to be a problem but if I were to switch to a heavier microphone to put on the top of the cold shoe mount I do think that little piece that swivels would probably have an issue staying where I want it, I didn't really look at this too hard before purchasing it but I was actually shocked that you could not lock the moving parts into place I do like this and I love the fact that it practically weighs nothing, it comes from a brand that seems to be good quality and the price was super low so overall it's a great value for the money, it's a really nice product and I'm sure it'll be reliable, it seems well built overall I just don't love the fact that you can't lock certain things into place that could be an issue or could possibly become an issue at some point, I got a little camera grip handle to screw on the bottom of this thing which is also extremely lightweight and honestly as long as it doesn't start moving on me when I don't want it to, this will be perfect ... show more

Versatile and Affordable Phone Tripod Mount I picked up this Ulanzi ST-06S phone tripod mount holder to help stabilize my iPhone for video and photo shoots, and it’s been a solid little accessory for the price. It’s very lightweight and compact, so it fits easily into my gear bag without adding bulk. The mount supports most phones with widths from about 2.4 – 3.5 inches, including larger iPhone and Android models — it works with my phone even with the case on. One feature I really like is the dual cold shoe mounts — I can attach both a small mic and an LED light at the same time. That’s especially handy for vlogging and livestreaming without needing a more expensive rig. The holder also lets me rotate between portrait and landscape and tilt the phone to get the right angle without constantly adjusting the tripod itself. The clamp grips the phone securely and has non-slip silicone pads to help protect the device from scratches. The ratcheting clamp is simple to use, and despite the plastic build it feels decent for everyday use. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that the plastic construction feels a bit budget-grade, and I sometimes double-check that heavier accessories are tightly secured. Some users online note that very thick cases can make the grip less secure. Overall: Great budget-friendly option if you want a phone mount that’s easy to use, offers accessory mounting, and gives flexible shooting angles without spending a lot. ... show more

    • Great Mount--With a Little Flaw
So, I received this mount today. I had originally intended to use my phone as a monitor for my camera, and I bought this so that I could also have a cold shoe on either side: one for my light and one for my mic. Hone I revived this, the first thing I noticed was the build quality. It was a bit more flimsy and cheap than I had expected. However, the size was fairly compact. The grip that holds you phone isn't a stretch tight, you have to manually press a button for it to clamp your phone, and often times it can be a bit light, and there is a small possibility that your phone can fall out. most times when you use your phone as an external montitor you use it horizontally. When you flip the mount, however, it become vertical, which only allows you to use one cold shoe! Just a minor gripe. However, I feel like the mount could be slightly cheaper for the value for money and the minor flaws. However, this is great if you are mainly doing vertical content! ... show more
