Firstly, the cold shoes themselves work great for my purposes and fit on any camera cage. I especially like the arrows on the adapters so I don't have to fiddle with my equipment when I inevitably forget which way I mounted it. However, I feel that it's worth mentioning that the included hex keys are utter garbage. They worked fine when first putting the cold shoe in, but when I took it back out to move it elsewhere, I almost completely stripped the screw. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap pack of proper hex keys before you end up with a cold shoe permanently stuck to your cage. ... show more

works great but the screws are so soft if you tighten them it will strip the Allen head on the bolts and then they will never come off. Not that I want to take them off but I put one on the wrong direction and could not get it off to turn it around again. I put the second one on correctly but the bolt did the same thing so neither are ever coming off. one on correctly and one backwards. oh well! still works. ... show more

Put Simply Small rig is on Par with Manfrotto and the quality has always been. Need the right solution they got you covered and this cold shoe is no exception , though I would suggest also getting a cold shoe riser or camera cage to go with it!
