    • Fun For Quick But Grainy Photos, Permission-Greedy App Has Lots of Options, Fast Working
Joining this via bluetooth to my phone was fairly quick and easy, required a bit more permissions than I understood. The app's software has a lot of great graphics and options to use with the printer, which I found very impressive. The included sample sized paper roll had some creases on the outside, which did cause a skip in the first image I printed out. Beside that skip, the image (which was a drawing along with a pre-made graphic from the app) turned out fine. The photo portion is grainy-looking, but I could still make out what it was a photo of. However, it was not at all like the product photo included by the manufacturer. I expected this, since I had something similar but do find the product photo misleading to anyone who has had no experience with this sort of thermal printer. There's a lot of variety of papers/sticker rolls that one could choose from when buying refills, but they are pricey. Still, if one is using these for a small handmade business, for journaling, etc. it may be worth it. Again, the app software offers all sorts of terrific options one could use for a plethora of applications. I do like this, but feel the product photo represantation is misleading and the photos' quality is just okay, the paper roll refills are costly, and the app was somewhat permissions-greedy (but it's needed to use this device). I am a person who likes gadgets and gizmos and that cool thing I saw this other person had. This is such a fun little gizmo gadget. You can connect this via bluetooth to your phone and then print up all sorts of stickers onto white paper. You can print up a picture of yourself or a piece of clip art or words and labels. I imagine you could print up QR Codes and stick them everywhere for people to scan and see your message. There are a few things to note: First- be sure you use the right app. It is the Phomemo app. NOT the phomemo m1110 App. Second- This only prints in black and white. Third- Do not stick this sticker anywhere you do not want it to stay. I know this for a fact as my child stuck one to my fridge and it took a while to get it off. Fourth- They have great customer support. When I had a hard time figuring out what I was doing wrong (Wrong app) they spent a few minutes helping me via email and it didn't take long to get me going. So what do you do with little stickers printed up black and white? Well you can use this as a label maker and print labels for your sugar container or you can print up things to use in your art journal. Or you can do what I'm planning on doing- printing up pictures of my kids when they do something worth saving and sticking the sticker to the item. SO if they make a great painting, I can put a sticker of my daughter on her painting at that age so I will have a record of what she looked like and her age when she made that artwork. I am getting some semi transparent rolls because I think that would look so much better for my plan. Two wishes- I wish they would have some stickers that had repositionable glue on it as opposed to such strong glue on the back. I would like to be able to make up a to do list and then move it from place to place as I need it. I also wish they would make some that were not stickers so I could use it as a bookmark or something. I'm going to have to play around with that idea. You supposedly do not run out of ink. You have to buy special paper for this printer though. One thing I like is that it is small enough you can easily pop it into your purse and carry it around with you. I think that it might be fun to print up photos of people you meet and stick their photo on their business card. I think there are some fun uses for this. This is an easy small black and white printer. It's compact and USB charged, so it's highly portable. It is a thermal printer, so the ink is included in the paper. I use it to print notes that I stick into my planner and insert into my kids' lunchboxes (including ones that they could color in or I can use markers to add a dash of color to). It comes only with a very small amount of white paper. I bought blue replacement paper here but haven't had to use it yet, so the paper goes further than I thought! : https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083B8LGKW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 (I purchased blue because white was on backorder). PROS: * prints really quickly * good for labels * good for sticky notes CONS: *interface for to-do lists is just okay (printer interface is satisfactory but not excellent; it's hard to include any graphics at all) * printer tape (and thus prints) are quite small * the print quality is just okay Overall, very solid at what it does, but it is very small and not super-great in terms of print quality.
