Top Amazon Reviews

  • Super versatile, great for larger riders
Color: White/Black
Waited since purchasing in January to write a review to get a good feel for the bike. This is a large bike! One of the reasons I picked this model was the high weight rating as I was +300lbs during time of purchase(bike has assisted with losing 30lbs so far, DO NOT listen to trash talkers saying ebikes do not provide exercise! they are midwits and fear to witness your progress) With a 32” inseam I have to tilt the bike to be flat footed, with the bike straight up I can get both feet on the ground with my toes. The riding position is comfortable however. I like the look of the bike especially, simple fat tire/mtb aesthetic with tasteful color scheming. Performance wise the derailleur works great and the brakes have been performing well. The dual motors accelerate quickly and have good uphill performance (this was a big concern for me to be able to safely ride among traffic.). Battery takes anywhere from 8-10 hrs to go from 1 bar to full. I’ve gotten ~20 miles on a full charge commuting to work 200ft elevation climb each way(5 miles ea), full throttle and some light pedaling. While being mindful of throttle usage and staying in PAS 4 I’m able to stretch a battery 30 miles. During winter months at temps below 45F the battery performance does decrease I would estimate %15-%20. The freewheel upgrade makes the bike an absolute blast to ride, haven’t upgraded the crankset yet but I’m sure its worth it too. Added tire sealant to the tubes immediately and haven’t had any tire issues. Like other reviews mention the cell phone holder is a bit flimsy, but I don’t think the manufacturer should concern themselves with it if it affects the cost. I saw some reviews that had problems with the kickstand but I havent experienced anything yet, I just made sure to tighten and retighten every bolt during assembly. Overall great bike, I don’t think I could count on one hand other ebikes that provide so much value, would recommend to anyone that can handle the height of the bike. Customer service was also very attentive and responsive to my questions during and after shipping. 5 stars (Be mindful of bike laws in your area, and try not to be a hooligan, this tech has the potential to make a huge positive impact on our communities as they become more popular so long as people use it responsibly) ... show more

  • price dropped 400 since i bought mine in april ah well. great bike (update!)
Color: White/Black
I guess the review shouldn't be about the $400 price drop which I don't know why it's human psychology just kind of burns me I mean $400! Anyway the bike. I'm surprised to see that I didn't review it earlier I really love this bike - oh I know why because it was making sounds when I first bought it like there'd be a ringing sound from one of the hubs and then there was a problem with one motor (it has AWD! two motors!) but then these guys had great support and it sent me a replacement wheel .. but I had to have it professionally installed but anyway I doubt the problems I saw are typical. After it's worn in for some time, I don't have any sounds or anything going on really right now. It probably needs maintenance. Anyway it's a beast - 2,000 watts is a lot of power. I'm 6'5" and over 200lbs and this thing can totally assist for uphill and in fact it can do the whole thing even though I enjoy cycling and DO pedal, with this I don't have to. It carries me around really well. A smaller person .. yeah if you are small this is probably too much bike for you, seriously. For a person of slight build it would be like a motorcycle I think, and it's just not subtle enough. Maybe it can be programmed to be weaker or accelerate slower if you are lighter weight I don't know. I want to say in here somewhere that these things are very very heavy, like maybe 70lbs, and if you don't engage the motor like if you leave the battery off, you will have a heck of time using this as a normal bike. Ebikes don't work that way, the power is an essential part of it. I didn't know this for a long time and thought it would help someone to see this truth about them. I've owned several other ebikes in the past they were definitely not enough power and I had serious problems after even slight uphill gradients (with my putting in a huge amount of effort on the pedals). The fat tire design is nice in some ways but honestly.. it adds a lot of weight and it's gratuitous.. I did take this on some trails and that was great but I've owned a lot of bikes and I think just normal mountain-bike tires would be fine for my next bike, probably, this thing is sort of Mad Max and I don't think I'll make it to a beach to ride on sand or anything, so it is a little wasted on me. I mostly just go on roads. I like in a *very* rainy area and finally caved and leased an electric car too, but I got by for the past couple of years with just this bike - it was my primary transportation that time. With the rear bike rack and some bungee cables this was perfect for grocery trips and actually a couple long trips around the nearby lake (which is quite a way up a hill on the other side). I have yet to run down the battery though I am meticulous about giving it a full charge every single time I go out. What else can I saw about it... Oh, not sure if you care but the speed thing - it does 30mph but not a lot more unless maybe you are going downhill, but I'll tell you, I always wear a helmet (and you should too!) but 30 is the fastest I think a person should go on a bike anyway. If you want to go faster in my opinion you should have a motorcycle and all the training and gear that goes with that. This is just a high-end bicycle and I don't recommend pushing the speed limits of it. OH, also the brakes are EXCELLENT. Ok well with this massive price drop, assuming all the parts/materials/etc are the same as before, I highly recommend this bike. I'm only a tiny bit jealous about the price drop. // update review a year later: price dropped in HALF since I bought this AND it increased power they claim 3000w total holy cow unbelievable. My bike is still excellent condition and 2000w was fine but if I were buying a new bike today it would be this! ... show more

  • Fun bike to ride
Color: White/Black
I bought this Apr 18, 2024 and today is Sept 6th and the battery will no longer take a charge. My son used this frequently for his commute to work (2 miles each way) just after buying it, but now it won't accept a charge. It was a lot of fun to ride but it has less than 200 miles on it and its nothing but a paperweight at this point. I reached out to the seller to see what they're willing to do about the bad battery. I will update this if they contact me. *** Update 9/9/2024 Customer service reached out and gave a couple of suggestions and tests to run. After messing with the battery this weekend, it is now working, however the status bar light does not work. We really enjoy riding this bike. It's been a lot of fun to ride as an alternate to my road biking that I do. I can just relax and go for a fun ride with my wife while she rides her pedal assist bike. There has been an issue with it from day one though with the front disc brake brake rubbing in the caliper. Despite several efforts to prevent it from happening, it continues. Other than that, it has really been a fun bike. If I didn't work from home and was at my last place of business, I'd totally ride this to work to save on gas! ... show more
