Like several other people I got the Philips SH98/70 replacement shaving heads to use in a non-Prestige shaver... the S9721. From a physical point of view the SH98 fits on the S9721. The 3 drive shafts engage the cutters correctly. As for the shave quality, I tried to use them on my 2 day beard prepared with the Williams Lectric Shave lotion. I could not say that the heads slide around on the skin easier than the original SH90. But I could tell that I made fewer passes to achieve a shave quality that at least as good as the original S9721 heads. This was also confirmed at the end by the shaver's battery state of charge display. The display showed that the SH98 heads the battery used 2%-3% less power. From what I could feel with my hand over the face I got a somewhat closer shave than before. Couldn't find any missed hairs. Since the Prestige shavers do not come with a cleaning system, I have to question how the SH98 is affected by the cleaning solution used by the S9721 shaver. I guess I'll see as time passes. With that said, I rated the SH98 Value for money at 2 stars. That is because several years ago Philips decided to break up the replacement shaving heads by selling the top part separately from the bottom part. At that time the price did not see a reduction that one might expect so when you consider that the bottom part sells now on Amazon for about $38 and the SH98 (or similar) for around $60 the prince increase was quite substantial. ... show more

    • Not cleaning in the cleaning doc like the original
This replacement head is not cleaning with the cleaning doc. Norelco has its Norelco Shaver Cleaning System for Series 9 and 8 Shavers. The originals will still clean. But not this replacement head. Disappointed in that. I'll keep trying and if I cannot get it to work, will have to return.

Purchased these for my husband. He had aN older Philips razor where the replacement blades were all separate pieces and you had to try to fit it all together like a puzzle. We were pleasantly surprised when this came all as one unit that you just pop off the old and pop this new one on. Works amazing! Will be buying another one to keep on hand for when this one wears out, which will likely not be for a few years if it lasts as long as the one that came with it did. ... show more
