For $114 you get a turbo powered shaver with a lithium ion battery AND a new set of heads. I've tried 9 different Phillips shavers and 2 brauns in the past 2 months. This one came out on top for a few reasons. 1. This battery and shaver were manufactured this year 2021. There is a clear difference in the sound of the motor, speed, and time it lasts vs the turbo powered s5660/5750 that came out and has been sitting around since 2017. 2. Take $35 off the $114 price for the free heads. Now it's really only $79. 3. The cleaning stations that came with the 7000 and 9000 series are overrated. I bought one separately and am going to return it. They take forever to clean and/or dry. Some $5 jet solution and a small glass work well for lubrication and removal of tap water contamination after a brush and hot water rinse. 4. The shave is just a tad better than the 9300 series and ton better than the other new ones with squared off plastic around the heads. 5. One touch pop open. Not all the 6000 series are like that. 6. For the best experience, just buy a $25 multi groom tool with a single foil shaver/nose trimmer. The small foil shaver will get closer than any rotary for small spots. Then use the regular head as a trimmer since all of the Phillips seem dull. Enjoy. Hope this helps. ... show more

I find it frustrating that I have to keep track of a separate proprietary charger. All manufacturers should have switched to USB-C by now. Otherwise the shaver is solid, no complaints yet regarding how well it shaves

So far, so good. I'm a long time electric shave user and i know the benefits/limitations of them. This model had good features, nice and quiet, long battery life between charges. Made in Netherlands. As with all electric shavers you have to pull your skin taught and go over your face in different directions to get a good cut. I have psoriasis and it has been good to my skin in regards to sensitivity. ... show more
