I was looking to upgrade my 3D printing setup and stumbled across this. I saw another person rate it 5 starts who also utilized it for their 3D printer, so pulled the trigger. Pros: It's sturdy, even for the style of 3D printer I have which results in a lot of rocking. There's still some movement from the printer, but to me it's negligible. I also triple checked the screen tightness and made sure everything was level at the final stages. I love the amount of space on the upper table top and the lower shelf. Capable of fitting my printer, filament dryer and still have some workspace. The pegboard seems nice and sturdy, although I haven't really loaded it up with stuff yet. Cons: The assembly was cumbersome. Prepare to set aside at least a 4 hours to assemble this if you're doing it alone. It's one of those "don't fully tighten any screws until the end" assemblies. There are about 100 screws total, most of which you'll have to tighten twice by the end. The upper shelf/light rack didn't get installed because one of the holes on the upper board didn't line up with the holes on the frame. Not a huge deal in my case because my printer accessories run higher than the shelf, so I likely wouldn't have used it anyways. One of the drawers doesn't stay fully closed. I'm not entirely sure if it's something I did during assembly, or if the flanges aren't perfect 90s, so it isn't sitting level on the rollers. It's minor enough, so I don't mind that much. A corner of the pegboard was chipped near the screw hole, but there was still enough surface area for the washer to mostly seat on the surface. Overall, for a workbench less than $200, I'll still give it 5 stars. If you're patient and somewhat handy, it's worth it. It's only been 2 weeks, so if anything changes, I'll make an update.

This is a great workbench. I found the instructions easy to follow and detailed. Unboxed everything and spread it all around to see the part numbers and make sure you check the boxes that look like filler because some nuts and bolts were in one and the handles were in another. Followed the instructions and just tighten the nuts finger tight only. The drawer slides are a little tricky but everything has been going together very well. Once everything is put together then it's time for tightening all the nuts and bolts. I started on one bottom leg with 2 bubble levels and went to each leg and then the pegboard brackets then the top counter. Then tighten the three counters down. Use the 10mm wrench too tighten the nuts down tight and screwdriver for holding it still. This workbench is very sturdy, not at all flimsy. The counters are a good thickness and there's lots of storage space. The light isn't super bright but we'll enough light to work with. This was an excellent price and quality for a home garage workbench. I'm still arranging things on this side but it's so much better now.

I had been using the bottom of a shelving unit (see pic) for years as my work/tool bench. It was small and flimsy but did the job, kinda. I finally realized it was time to grow up and get a real bench and I settled on this unit from Amazon. Overall, it is a fantastic bench at a very good price. I wasn't in a hurry to get it when I ordered it so the month long shipping time wasn't a big deal, but to my happy surprise it arrived in less than 2 weeks. It comes flat packed and is fairly heavy so I would recommend having at least 2 people move it. The outside of the box was a bit banged up, but the contents were unharmed and all parts were there. It comes with instructions which are fairly good but pay close attention to the pictures, instructions and the orientation of the parts when you are attaching them. It can make a big difference if it is backwards although it's not always obvious that it is until you go to attach a later part. I found attaching the upper shelf part that hangs out over the bench and the light attaches to, difficult to put together in the right order. Pay close attention during that part of the assembly and recruit a helper if you can. Pros: - Looks really nice - high quality parts - solid construction (no wobble or flexing) - LED light included to light work surface - Outlet with 3 "plug ins" integrated into right side of bench with long cord attached - Upper shelf is recessed so unsightly things can be stored and hidden and the chance of objects falling off is minimal - Work surface is thick, solid and textured for less slip and coated so spills will not soak in. It can also be drilled into to attach a vice for example - there are 2 drawers that are wide and long, although not very deep. They are great for storing boxes of nails and screws, but you could also order some utensil organizers to use for storing various tools. Cons: - I would say I'm pretty versed at putting furniture, shelving units, engines etc together and this took me much longer than I had expected. It was probably between 4 and 5 hours all said and done (not counting breaks). It wasn't complicated, just a lot of small bolts and nuts to put in and tighten, often from weird angles. - I wish the back of the bench was about a foot taller, giving you more space on the peg board but still allowing a person of average height to reach the shelf. - The peg board material isn't as robust as I'd like, however I believe it should be sufficient to hold any regular hand tools hung from it. It might be stretching it to hang a drill with a heavy battery though. - Putting together the upper shelf and making sure it was level was more difficult that it needed to be. If possibly have another person hold the shelf level while you tighten the bolts. I didn't have anyone available at the time unfortunately. In sum, I really like this bench so far. It is solid enough for my needs, it looks great, it created a lot of storage and opportunity for tool organization and the size of the work surface is perfect. I highly recommend this bench for storing tools or craft supplies and it gives you a plenty of area to do projects. It shipped faster than expected and packaging is tough enough to take a beating but protect the contents. Also, it came with all needed hardware and included some extras just in case. You will need a phillips head screwdriver and a small adjustable crescent wrench for assembly.

For the price? Not bad at all. It’s surprisingly sturdy—like, “survived me leaning on it in defeat several times during assembly” sturdy. The work and storage surfaces feel solid, but the finish is that weird office-desk material that screams “I will show every single scratch and regret.” If you’re planning to do actual work on it, maybe throw down a liner or slap some wood veneer on top before you turn it into a battleground. Now, the instructions... whew. Where do I begin? Imagine IKEA directions, but written by someone who lost interest halfway through and just started winging it. The diagrams are vague, like a “Where’s Waldo?” for screws. Good luck figuring out how some of the parts go together, especially that drawer slider—it’s like a puzzle no one asked for. And just when you think you're almost done, boom: the backboard. Surprise! None of the holes line up. The middle hole, the side holes—basically, it’s like the person who designed this part was playing darts and missed. Pro tip: when you get to this part, do not follow the instructions unless you enjoy yelling at inanimate objects. Start by aligning the middle bottom hole, then work your way outwards. Trust me, it's the only way you'll avoid losing your sanity. Also, shoutout to the missing screws! I’m sure they’re having a great time wherever they ended up. Thankfully, I had a few spares lying around, or this thing would’ve become a very expensive firewood project. In conclusion—yes, I’m finally done ranting—it’s a good-looking piece and decent quality for the price. But unless you’re handy or have the patience of a monk, this assembly will test your will to live. You'll definitely want a ratcheting hex wrench and a screwdriver, or better yet, an electric drill unless you want to feel what carpal tunnel is like. Final verdict: Buy it if you're handy. Burn it if you’re not.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, and Exactly What I Needed I’m really impressed with this WEN workstation. Assembly was super easy and straightforward — everything lined up perfectly and I had it put together without any frustration. Once it was assembled, I was honestly surprised by how sturdy it is. It feels solid, well-built, and doesn’t wobble at all, even when fully loaded with tools and equipment. The size is perfect for a dedicated workspace, and the drawers and shelf make organizing everything simple and efficient. It looks clean, professional, and definitely upgraded my workspace instantly. First - this is a generic kit that is sold by multiple vendors on Amazon. Find the cheapest one you can. Assembly- this does not require two people. I built it by myself in about an hour and a half. Read the manual for nut sizes. I think they are 7,8 and 10mm. I suggest a socket and extension. There are some spots that your fingies need to fit into tight spots. Socket + extension will let you get things in there easily. Grab a socket wrench as well to put torque on everything as you move along. Don’t use a freakin’ pair of needle nose pliers. That is absurd and the person who did should feel poorly about themselves. Build Quality- surprisingly great! The top shelf is a questionable design, I wouldn’t put more than 10 or 20 pounds total on it. The rest of the workbench is solid. Overall it is sturdy but I wouldn’t put any significant weight on it. It is overall a good value considering what you are getting: you get to play with what is essentially an erector set and enjoy hours of building something. You get drawers, a kinda junk light but a light, a pegboard, a sketchy top shelf and solid bottom shelf. I purchased this for my 3D printer. It is perfectly sized to complete my prototyping projects on. Overall - great purchase, very happy. It is affordable, serves it’s purpose and will last well beyond when I’m put in the ground.

Tools you'll want: Drill and socket wrench for sure. It'll be extremely tedious doing this with a regular wrench or screwdriver. Needle nose pliers. Useful in place of the socket wrench to help you hold some hard to get nuts. Rubber mallet. You'll want one to bang the work surface in to place, and maybe the pegboard. Assembly tips: Follow the instructions precisely and you will not have problems. Pay careful attention to the parts where it says attach to the inside, or outside. And that the flange should be up. The pictures can be misleading but the text almost always clarifies. Pay attention to which screws it says to use. It's almost always the same one, but for the handles and the work surfaces / shelf it's not. You can easily assemble this with one person if you are reasonably tall with long arms. It might be a stretch to tighten certain bolts otherwise. You can really just tighten everything as you go. I had no problem at all with the pegboard or the shelf, they fit on perfectly. But you have to have it assembled properly up to that point. The pegboard itself should fit fine. The worksurface can be hard to get on there but just hit it with a rubber mallet, should be no problem. Really it's not that hard. Just think about a few steps if you're not sure and re-read the text again. Cons: Drawers are very flimsy and crappy. Don't buy this if you want to use the drawers heavily. The worksurface itself is just particle board. The pictures make it look like metal but it is not. The metal is very thin, though once you have the worksurface attached it's fairly sturdy. It's not particularly great, but for the price it's pretty decent. I wouldn't buy this if I was intending on using it heavily or needed good drawers.
