  • Bought a pack of 4 that seemed expensive, received 8, one was broken
Color: Soft White (2700k) Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Pattern Name: Basic LED Configuration: 100W
Right out of the box one of them is cracked and has something rattling around inside. Also I ordered a 4-pack that seemed expensive but I was willing to pay that for 1500 lumens. However, I received an 8 pack. Lucky me? Except for the broken one? Other than that, the light output is great.

  • Compact size is helpful
Color: Soft White (2700k) Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Pattern Name: Basic LED Configuration: 40W
I needed a slightly shorter bulb than what I could find locally. These are a little shorter than most and fit my lamp and lampshade perfectly. Otherwise, they are warm-color, relaxing indoor bulbs. Perfect for evenings because they don't have a lot of blue tint.

  • Works fine
Color: Soft White (2700k) Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Pattern Name: Basic LED Configuration: 40W
I got the 40W equivalent, 4 count. They work just fine. Be aware that it says non-dimmable on the box even though the amazon description says otherwise.

  • LED is great but not all bulbs are the same
Color: Soft White (2700k) Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1) Pattern Name: Basic LED (Old Version) Configuration: 100W
You need to be careful when buying LED bulbs because they are not all the same, not even close sometimes. I did a lot of reading and searching and Phillips always seemed to hit home as a solid buy, everywhere I looked. Couldn't always find them, but if you wait, the deal and the bulbs themselves would show up. I bought many from Amazon here and quite a bit at the big orange store. One thing to note is that there are MANY different versions of what you would think is the same bulb. I am not positive, but I think this has something to do with the age of the bulb and revisions in the electronic. Not positive. I bought a ton of Phillips bulbs, mainly 60w and 75w equivalent and some 40w. Then I bought recessed can bulbs, floods and a number of specialty like candelabra and small sizes. I have lost one bulb and it was one of these. No idea what happened, just didn't turn on one day. One note of things different with the bulbs is that if you want to encase the bulb lets say in a fan light and the light is enclosed in a frosty dome or something, they need to be rated to be able to be recessed/enclosed. If not, they will get hot and burn up. It will tell you on a Phillips box. After doing my whole home, my power bill has stabilized enough that I can see the difference by charting one year before and after. Same occupancy and even though we have grandchildren over now with every know light on for their safety, we are still quite a bit lower. I use a Schneider Electric called Sense, which you can find here on Amazon. I can track every single item that pulls power and the Sense device can pull resonance from down the line. I can see the difference and it is worth it. One last thing to remember: Dimmers. Some dimmers are labeled as "not for LED" essentially meaning, incandescent. The key is, the LED has a power transistor in the bottom and this needs a little kick to get this going. Best thing, use the proper dimmer. If not, turn the light up to kick it over and then dim it back down. Once the circuit is humming, you should be good. Do not dim too low if you are using these bulbs with the wrong dimmer. I would buy these bulbs again but I have plenty of spares. :) ... show more

  • Excellent for improving lighting conditions in any kind of room.
Color: Daylight (5000k) Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Pattern Name: Basic LED (Old Version) Configuration: 100W
I bought these because I believe that the 60W equivalent bulbs I were using weren't making my living room and kitchen bright enough. These are 100W equivalent and in my understanding, as long as the wattage doesnt exceed the rated amount in the socket, it can be used, so with these actually consuming 13.5W they are way under that threshold. Compared to the 60W (10W actual usage) equivalent ones, these used only 3W more at 13.5W but output almost twice as much light according to the lumen rating (old bulbs - 60W equiv. 10W actual - 800 lumens compared to these new bulbs - 100W equiv - 13.5W actual - 1500 lumens) and I see the difference, I especially appreciate the improvement in the kitchen while maneuvering knives and even make food pictures better. These are a great improvement over my existing bulbs and they stay excellently efficient despite being so much more bright, I would definitely pick up more should I want to replace more around the house. ... show more

Lumens and color seem accurate. Previous order of same bulb - seem to last as expected. Have not independently measured the wattage consumed, but assuming the advertised wattage is accurate, the light produced per watt is excellent.
