This is a really nice fixture that looks great in my apartment. It is nice looking, is very bright when turned up, and the secondary light that shines up onto to the ceiling is a sharp feature. Installation was fairly quick and not that hard. As others have noted, the directions aren’t amazing-trying to be IKEA when it’s not quite that simple. However, watching a ten-minute YouTube guide prior to installation answered all my questions. I want to address a couple comments that this fixture is flimsy and/or looks cheap–I did not find either to be the case. It is made of the same materials as the Gradient Signe lamps. I would describe it as sturdy, not flimsy. It’s expensive, sure. Philips Hue is the top end of the market–this isn’t out of line at $250. You get what you pay for! I’m very satisfied. ... show more

We have a lot of Hue bulbs and lamps, and I really enjoy their flexibility and color throughout our home. When I saw the Infuse, it looked perfect for our newly-configured entryway, and after waiting through all the stock shortages we finally got one. Eh. Philips "writes" instructions as IKEA does - since it's international they do it only with drawings. Well, they're no IKEA. Tiny drawings, difficult to make out, and not the sturdiest of lamps to begin with. With a magnifying glass we finally decoded all the intricacies of the install, and had it wired. Then we tried to screw the light onto the bracket. Can't see the bracket, no points to line up, this took many tries. But success! We got the light started, and rotated it into place... and the whole bottom of the light unscrewed and came down in our hands. Another 15 minutes of analyzing how the diffuser and the outside band fit into the outer lamp assembly, and we finally got the thing up. It does not have the best fit between the 3 major pieces. Honestly, the Home Depot cheapie LED ceiling fixtures went together better than this did. I can now set up scenes, and do all the cool Hue things, but I am not in love with this fixture. Hue is always unreasonably expensive, and this one is simply over the top for what you get. Definitely no more than 3 stars, more like a 2.5. Sorry to say. This review was for the Hue Infuse in white, then somehow shoved it onto this fixture, which I don't own. I purchased these to replace the outdated flush mounts in my place. I can’t speak to the installation process because I paid to have them installed along with several other fixtures in the house. But they look great (I don’t agree with other reviews that say they look cheap or flimsy. That just doesn’t appear to be the case) and the range of color and brightness is awesome. Attach an app view FYR. Really love it. It’s easy to install and use the app to control brightness and color. It’s better for our eyes( previous living room light from builder, I have to say, is a piece of garage)

I wanted this light from the first glimpse of it and knowing it was available finally in the U.S. I’d been eyeing it bc if the price… 199.99 yeah another Phillips Hue expensive light that’s not worth it. Ordered it recently and it truly does nothing but illuminate a small very small portion of whatever wall you decide to mount it to. Very disappointed. I’ve shipped it back to Amazon bc I couldn’t use it anywhere I’d put it the darn expensive light just wouldn’t work. Do better Hue ... show more

So incredibly disappointed with the purchase. I am fully brainwashed into the cult of Hue, but this is really just not up to their high standards. The best part of the fixture is the cloth bag it came in. The rest of it can only be described as feeling and looking like the cheap plastic toilet brush holders you buy at the grocery store. Specifically, it feels flimsy. The plastic is glossy. The proportions feel off. I could see maybe putting this in a laundry room or kid’s playroom or something, but not in a main living area, and certainly not in a dining room.
