Me likey: + Great sound quality + Good battery life on a charge + Controls are pretty easy to use Me no likey: - Sound sometimes cuts in and out for reasons unknown. - Sound will turn off after only a moment or two of inactivity. These wireless headphones offer pretty good sound overall, and aren’t difficult to operate. I got these because I was looking for wireless headphones that utilize the optical output on the TV; I haven’t found a ton of options. For the most part, these work fine, but for the money I expected a little more. Now and then the sound will cut in and out, like there’s some sort of interference, but I don’t know what it would be. It doesn’t happen often, but I can’t explain it. What DOES happen often though, is the headphones will simply turn off automatically after only a few moments of inactivity. Say you’re browsing Netflix, looking for something to watch, or you hit pause on a video game for a few moments… ANYTHING you do that doesn’t emit sound for a even a handful of seconds, the headphones will turn off, and you’ll have to purposefully do something on the TV that causes sound to get them to turn on again. Worse, it sometimes takes a few moments for the headphones and dock to find each other. It’s supposed to be a power save feature, but it’s SUPER annoying. If I drain some battery life because I walked away for awhile, that’s MY problem. The user should always have full control. If this feature is to exist, it should turn off after 10-15 minutes of inactivity, not after a few seconds. ... show more

These don't go as far as my old pair (200 feet) but they work well enough in the house. Only about a 50' range outside. but they work very good otherwise.

Initially, I really loved the look and feel and quality of these headphones. I looked forward to using them daily on my treadmill. Until about 4 months in and one side just stops working for no obvious reason. They had been handled carefully, used once daily for less than an hour, but suddenly one side seemingly just failed. I hadn’t purchased a warranty and I see others have also complained about them just stopping. I considered buying another pair but they’re now $10 higher than what I paid. I bought a different set that aren’t nearly as nice as these, but I did get the warranty this time! Would still repurchase these if they go on sale for under $30 since I know they aren’t reliable. But how wonderful they are when they’re working! If you try them, get the warranty and make them replace! ... show more

The controls are convenient; the sound is fine. Good that it conserves power by turning off when you take it off your head. But the rechargeable AAA batteries that came with it expired after 4 months--no longer held a charge. I put some other brand of rechargeable AAA, and it powered the device, but the base refused to charge the new batteries (no green light). Online I got the hint that the Philips battery is special: the negative end wraps around to the side to make contact on the cylindrical surface (see picture). I removed the wrapping from that portion of the generic batteries, and now it charges. That requires some cutting and unwrapping, but it matches the bare surface of that last 5 mm that the Philips battery has. ... show more

    • Doesn’t sync all the time
As sound goes they work great, but when I want to go from listening to the tv to the phone half the time it doesn’t want to sync with them. I have to mess with it for 15 mins or more and most of the time it still doesn’t work. I wouldn’t buy it again.

They fit nice and the ear cuffs are very soft and comfortable. The sound is great. It was easy to set up. The strap over the head looked chewed when it arrived and is quickly deteriorating, it's only been a few days and it's noticably worse.
