  • Always impressed with Beats sound quality.
Color: Matte Black Set: Studio3
The sound is great. Not earth rumbling bass but these are extremely affordable compared to headphones with high levels of bass. They are comfortable. The noise canceling is decent. The battery life is phenomenal. And the quick charge feature is very useful. Love this version of the Studios. High quality as always ... show more

  • quality headphones, when on a sale a great value
Color: Matte Black Set: Studio3
I think these headphones are terrific. I am not a techie or a sound system professional or anything close to that - just someone who enjoys all kinds of music and wants to enjoy it with a nice set of earbuds or headphones. Also, I'm a little bougie and like "status" brands so who wouldn't think I was cool in a pair of Beats Studio 3s? LOL. In reading the reviews, I was a bit nervous to get these because it seemed that a lot of the more recent ones were a bit negative in terms of the "quality of sound" and the noise cancelling. I looked at a lot other wireless headphones - AirPods Max, Bose, JBL, Sony etc. I decided to still purchase because at the Prime Day price (which I snagged earlier than Prime Day) they were a steal. I have been testing these out for a couple days. I think that the noise cancelling is fine. No, it's not like getting sucked into a vacuum but it cancels out the surrounding external sound enough so that I can fully immerse myself in the music. I find that this fits my "smallish" head and ears just fine, it's comfortable after about 4-5 hours of wear and still plenty of battery life. Most headphones, and earbuds, I have owned get uncomfy after a while and honestly I only see myself using these in spurts of 1-5 hours at a time anyway. The matte black style I got is very sleek and subtle; the packaging is beautiful, feels very "exclusive". Paired with my iphone 12 with no issue and every time I turn on the headphone power it immediately connects. I like the volume, play/pause/skip/back control. I don't intend to use this to take/make phone calls. So, at the sale price I think these were a great buy. Update: wore these today (7/18/23) in my home office and was driving my hubs crazy because I could not hear him and was not responding to him when he called my name repeatedly. He was sitting less than 10 feet away from me. So I’d say the noise canceling seems to work pretty well. ;) ... show more

  • Don't listen to the negative reviews!
Color: Shadow Gray Set: Studio3
So I have been a huge fan of the AirPod Pro's since the day they came out. I do light show sequences to music, so I'm using headphones for hours at a time, and need clear, crisp audio quality for what I work on. AirPods were getting to where after 6-8 hours straight my ears would hurt (from them being in, not volume). I wanted over the ear headphones and was looking at the AirPod Max, but saw the Beats Studio 3's. Wife has had a pair for a few months, so I borrowed her's for a day. Figured I'd return these if I really didn't like them, so pulled the trigger and bought them. I don't regret it one bit, and the sale price really helped! Audio is amazing, especially in the higher range which is what I'm needing. They don't exaggerate the bass tones either, which is great. Overall, extremely happy with the audio quality and the noise cancelling they offer. Battery life is amazing as well - I don't know how long the battery lasts, but its more than 8 hours. I've sequenced songs to lights for 8 straight hours yesterday, then after a quick break back at it for another 5 and these were keeping pace. They come with the micro-USB charger cable, which is a drawback in my book, its another cable I have to keep on my desk - why not just do USB-C like everyone else? Thats about my only complaint I can come up with. Minor inconvenience for me, not a deal breaker. These are amazing headphones for why I bought them, and the built in microphone means you can take calls with them as well. I was hesitant but they integrate with Mac/iPhone so well and work perfectly, I'm glad I got them. As with anything that offers AppleCare, I recommend that, especially at full price, its worth the insurance on the device if anything happens. ... show more

  • Love them
Color: Matte Black Set: Studio3
I’ve been using the Beats Studio headset for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The sound quality is outstanding—rich bass, clear mids, and crisp highs that make music feel alive. Noise cancellation works beautifully, blocking out distractions and letting me stay focused whether I’m working, traveling, or just relaxing. Comfort is another big plus. The ear cushions feel soft and fit securely without causing pressure, even after hours of use. The battery life is impressive, lasting long enough that I rarely have to think about charging. On top of that, the sleek design and build quality really stand out—it looks as good as it sounds. Overall, the Beats Studio headset delivers a premium listening experience. If you’re looking for style, comfort, and incredible sound all in one, this is the headset to get. ... show more

  • Great headphones, just don't fit my big ears.
Color: Matte Black Set: Studio3
Jan 2023 - First, I am not an audiophile. So, this review will not be super technical, just an average Joe who doesn't mind paying for quality products. I did quite a bit of research before buying my next set of headphones. I read tons of reviews on Amazon and the web. I read multiple "review/ratings" articles online that compared numerous headphones. Ultimately, I decided to buy these because I have an iPhone and AppleTV that they work seamlessly with, and they were always rated highly at their price point. I've used them for about 2 months now. They were simple to pair with my iPhone. When I am in my living room with my AppleTV on and I turn them on, my AppleTV asks me if I want to pair them, and they have done that easily every single time. I love this seamless functionality. I use them at work primarily. I work in office with 20+ cubes. I use them often simply for the noise-canceling to stay focused, and I use them just as often to listen to podcasts and music. When in noise-canceling mode, they do not remove 100% of every sound around you. No headphones can (that I am aware of). But, they do a great job creating a virtually noise free environment with a light "white noise" in the background (similar to a fan in the distance). You can turn noise-canceling off, and then the noises around you are simply muffled (if you're not actively playing something on the device you're connected to). As mentioned previously, I listen to podcasts, music, and watch TV and movies with these. I think they sound fantastic with all of these. Occasionally, they do sound just a tiny bit bass-heavy for some of the music I listen to or during movies with high-action scenes that have a lot of explosions, but that's just me I guess. Some people probably prefer that with the music/media they have. My one peeve is that they don't completely fit over my ears. The good news is the cushions on the earcups are super soft. So, I can still wear them comfortably... for hours. This doesn't seem to affect the noise-canceling at all. Lastly, they seem to have a really good battery life with my usage style. I use them for varying lengths of time. At work, it's not uncommon to get interrupted and need to turn them off after 5-10 mins because I need to step away from my desk, and sometimes I will have them on for 2+ hours. At home, I often use them at night to watch stuff on my AppleTV so that I don't take a chance of waking up my kids while they are sleeping, and I can get hours of watch time in without needing to charge them (as long as they weren't close to being dead already). If you can get them on sale (like I did: $170), I wouldn't hesitate to buy them, and I saw them on sale a lot (but the sale price varied quite a bit) leading up to my purchase. I don't even think their regular price is all that bad for what you get. ... show more

  • Awesome sounding cans!
Color: Shadow Gray Set: Studio3
Awesome consumer headphones. I normally use flat frequency headphones because it’s the only way you can hear what the musicians want you to hear, and music always sounds better than consumer headphones as they all color the original recording. Having said that, I do you use several different sets of consumer headphones, and these are my favorite. Got these on sale, would never pay full price for beats. ... show more
