I'm really happy with this couch and ottoman. I decided to buy the 5 pc set vs the 3 pc set simply because I felt the ottoman being detachable was more versatile. I also thought that in the fall when I'm stacking and covering, it will be easier. I'll start by saying that I had NO problems with this set at all. Delivery was a breeze (the two boxes were heavy, but cleverly packaged like a tetris game and undamaged by FedEx). Unpacking was simple. All parts were labeled and the directions were plenty clear. I didn't have any problems lining up the holes and getting the bolts started. In order to have this result, you absolutely must follow the directions and do not tighten up the bolts until all of them have been inserted and started. And I mean do not go beyond a few turns after getting it started. You will have no problems with assembly if you do this. The directions state this, but I am guessing that the people who had trouble lining up the holes probably tightened up screws too much before they had them all in. That being said, you have to carefully look to make sure that you have screws in all of the places they are supposed to go. The directions don't tell you how many screws get inserted, so you just need to pay attention. The box that contained the two corner pieces had stickers to label some parts, and the stickers were on the little metal legs. They did not come off, but they will face the wall so it doesn't bother me. If I want to try to get it off later, I will. The box that contained the middle piece, ottoman and coffee table had protective coating over the little metal legs that had to be peeled off. That was a great idea and would have been nice if it had been done the same way for the other box that had the stickers that overlapped the metal legs. The stickers come off the plastic rattan very easily. Overall, just read the directions and know that anytime you are screwing in bolts using an allen wrench, it is tedious. It took me about 2 hours to get it all together. My hands were a little bit worn out, but the adrenaline in having new patio furniture takes over! I placed the furniture underneath an overhang on my deck. It will get wet, and it will get dewey, but I think it will do all right. The ottoman cushion got wet in a rainstorm and the water pooled up a little bit on top. It dried out very quickly in the following sunny day. If you are a tall person and concerned about size, budget patio furniture is not for you. Go to a furniture store, or go to an outdoor store that sells high-end patio furniture and you will find nice regular sized furniture for about four times this price and up. There is patio furniture and then there is high quality patio furniture. I don't know what people expected for the price. I am 5 foot 5 in tall, and the furniture is very comfortable to me. I bought two throw pillows and can lay across the couch and read a book without a problem. The ottoman, or chaise lounge, is not that big... It is loveseat size. Since all the cushions are square and interchangeable, it is two cushions long - so not that long!! Don't buy this with the intention that the ottoman in chaise form will be super long. Common sense. I bought the navy blue color with brown, and it is very nice. I hope that it holds up for a long time, but I plan to rotate the cushions so that they will all fade evenly. The fabric on the cushions is not soft. Again, for the price, you should not expect high-end Sunbrella fabrics! It is inexpensive outdoor fabric and works just fine. I would rather it weather the elements than be soft and disintegrate rapidly. The clips that hold the sofa pieces together work very well. There are two for each joint, and I think it is ample. I did not attach the ottoman, because I move it regularly. I'm very happy with the style and quality of this furniture for the price. I was at a local Garden store today and saw a similar sectional sofa on sale (which really wasn't any higher or larger than this) at $1, 800! I'm happy I saved my money and hope that this will serve me for many years to come!

The best way to review this product is to give a blow-by-blow from purchase to completion, with some advice to anyone who actually purchases the set: Like many who purchased this sofa set, I was drawn by the price, which is considerably less than similar products. When I received the product, it came in two large boxes. I only mention this because I could not believe they could get a sofa and table set in two boxes, so actually emailed the company to make sure I was not supposed to be getting more. I opened each box and laid out the pieces, which are labeled by letter. I also opened the package containing all the nuts/bolts/washers and put them in a bowl. A warning - I did not know the table has a glass top, which is bubble-wrapped and tied to the table top. Be careful as it is, in fact glass, and is heavy. There are two different ways the sofa can be put together (either ways in an "L" shape - either with the lounger coming out the left side or right side. When necessary, the instructions tell you which set is for one or the other. !!!WARNING!!! - On the front cover of the manual, there is a picture for "Style 1" and "Style 2". BUT in the actual instructions, the two are exactly the opposite. I found this out the hard way which led me to have to undo part of my work when I realized the error. When you are trying to determine which style you want, look at the pictures IN THE MANUAL and not on the cover. One of the biggest complaints I have seen in the reviews is how difficult it is to actually tighten the screws. With the sofa set comes a set of tools (an allen wrench and a crescent wrench). Toss the crescent wrench completely and use a small socket wrench. Anyone who actually tried to put this thing together with the crescent wrench enclosed is a masochist. But with a small socket wrench, it's a completely different affair. I would also suggest a small socket screw driver which is what I used. Again, if you have a socket wrench, use it. If you don't have a small socket wrench, go to home depot and spend the $5-10 it will cost you to buy one of those sets they're always selling near the registers. And if you plan to ignore this advise completely, go buy a few 5ths of Jack and lock up the kiddies, 'cause there'll be sow seriously blue language coming. Now the instructions, and many other reviewers, suggest not tightening any of the bolts until the unit is together. For the most part, this is a VERY good suggestion, as some of the pieces need to be jiggled around a bit to get the bolts to go through. Further, depending on which style you use, the manual will tell you how many bolts you will need, but this is not very accurate, and there will be some holes that simply do not match up. The pieces themselves are pre-holed, so it's pretty clear where the bolts will go. It took me a few hours to put the sofa together, but that included, as noted above, having to take apart some pieces due to the error in the styles. After putting together the sofa piece, I went about putting together the table. At that point, I realized that two of the sides to the table were missing. I contacted support via the email on the front of the manual. They sent me to a site to complete a form. I completed the form and was contacted within a matter of hours by a support associate who WAS GREAT!!! (Huge shout-out to Manuela H. at COCAM!!!). We ID'd the missing piece and she sent me an email confirming it was being FedEx's to me, with the tracking number. Within days I had the missing pieces.

came with the table. The ignition switch didn't work and also the gas wouldn't stay on. Contacted customer support via email(only option). Took a day to respond. They needed verification of purchase and a video of the problem. Took a couple of days to respond telling me what was wrong and the parts they were sending. The part came from overseas and took several weeks to arrive with no instructions for installing. Now that I have been though this and know all the ends and outs I would order again.

Good quality and good priced outdoor sofa set. It arrived a few days after I ordered. It came with three packages. They all arrived different days by Fedex. The tempered glasses arrived broken by Fedex, and seller sent me a new one. Very efficient seller. They also came with a free 10” fire pit which was not on the picture. It’s too hot for a fire pit in this season in florida, so I didn’t use it. The assembly instructions was easy to understand and it did took me 1 hour to put everything together by hand manually. It will be really helpful to use an electric tool because it will save you a lot of time and energy. It’s very comfortable to lie on it and the cushions are really soft and waterproof. Overall great buy and happy with the product.
