Sat on this while paddling on my paddle board for 1 hour, comfortable the entire time. Now I need to make myself a foot rest to attach to my board and my kayak conversion for days I want to sit and paddle will be finished. This seat is comfortable, compact, and very easy to set up. It is light and well worth carrying with your gear to have the additional comfort while out on the water. The build is quality, with tight stitching, solid metal fasteners, and a gel insert for sitting on adds additional support. If properly attached, the back support is great. Do understand, if you want some more height while sitting, then you would want to look for a higher seat.

I ordered one of these with the extra seat cushion, and another similar one from a different vendor for comparison. Its clear both were made by the same factory but there are differences. This one has better quality strap webbing, and the extra cushion is definitely a good thing, so I'll be ordering another of these and returning the other vendor's. This seat is mostly good with a few annoying issues with the straps I'll have to fix myself. See my pictures for reference. The straps are stitched in unnecessary locations, which thus require extra adjustment buckles making adjustment unnecessarily fiddley. Also, the rear straps are made in a way that is too long for my Malibou Two kayak, so I'll have to restitch them a couple inches shorter. And finally, the seat bottom would benefit from straps to keep it from sliding forward when I lean back. I may try to add those straps. The seat-back does have some stiff plastic reinforcement to prevent the back from folding. The design is generally comfortable and suitable for kayaking. Nothing gets in the way or restricts movement while rowing.

IM old enough to not Just sit on my paddle board....Need a little help as in a back rest / seat. This seat attached to my ROC paddleboard connections. It looks great. It feels Great. Its adjustable and folds down when transporting the Board to and from the water in my truck. Great upgrade

I'm using this seat in a tandem kayak. It's a big step up from the plastic molded seat, with a good degree of adjustability. The padding is comfortable, but it's not as dense as another seat I've tried. The back support is nice and wide, to the point that it contacts the sides of my kayak. This actually adds to the comfort, but something to consider for narrower boats.
