While these were not the easiest chairs to put together (the swivel part should have already been put together before I received the chairs--I've never bought chairs where it wasn't), these are very sylish and comfortable. We've had several wind and rain storms here in AZ where I live and they have held up well, so two thumbs up for sturdiness!

I was looking for a set that would be stylish yet durable enough to withstand the elements. This set is perfect for my patio and has met all of my expectations! We already had two of these chairs and have had them for about four years and they have held up very well. We recently bought two more and the matching tables to complete our sets. We are using them on our screened in back porch and they are great chairs for us and our company. Assembly instructions I felt are clear enough for assembling these chairs in about 45 minutes each. We did have one missing part, which was a leg leveling cap on one of the legs because the box came a little damaged and opened, but we have worked with the seller and they are sending us a leg which will have two leg leveling caps on them. They were very apologetic and very quick to respond. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase

I am a really good mechanic and engineer. I assemble a lot of stuff including cars, motorcycles etc. It took me 4 hours to assemble these two chairs, 3 hours too long. In the process I learned a lot about the problems with these chairs. You need to be prepared to use all of your mechanical skills and if you don't have any, buy something else. The assembly issues have been described by others as difficult with no good instructions. I agree with that, but it is really more awkward than difficult. 2 people working together could help some but the process is just awkward trying to hold the odd shaped parts and getting them attached. But that is really a minor issue. Read on. There is a manufacturing and quality control issue that, if corrected, would make the process some easier, but still awkward. When attaching the seat and back to the arms, there are 8 connections to make and if they don't line up properly, then it can be a huge challenge to connect the seat and back to the arms. In the manufacturing process, the arms have had nuts welded into them that need to line up with the bolt holes in the seat and back. On my chairs, these holes did not line up so the process was very complicated to attach the bolts and get them tightened without stripping them. So what likely caused the problem? In welding these nuts, the jig used must have gotten out of true (or the welder was high) so the nuts are not where they should be. Now the difference could be as small as 1/8" but that is plenty enough to make assembly nearly impossible. So the jig is out of true and the QA team had missed it, leaving you you and I to figure a way around it. Bad engineering, bad manufacturing and bad quality control. Having said that, I was able to get mine built and I like them, but I exhausted my repertoire of foul language by the end. These are my experiences. You can make the call yourself. Good luck!

These are really nice chairs except they are very hard to put together. They also tend to lose the feet often as they come out easily. Constantly finding the Little Foot pieces everywhere. Also after 4 months of being outdoors the nylon is starting to tear so not thrilled about that. They are really comfortable and sturdy.
