This bench looks pretty nice when I open the package. The assembling process is easy to operate and very straightforward. The installation tools come with the bench together, so I don't need to prepare any extra tools. The design is simple but high-end, and well matched the decoration style of my dining room. The wood is thick, heavy, and sturdy. Before I was annoyed by the situation that many people came occasionally and I didn't have enough chairs to sit in. Now I don't need to worry about this anymore. This bench is spacious and comfortable. I invited several friends on weekends and they were all surprised at how many people could sit together on it without feeling crowded at all. The design of the footplate is nice and thoughtful as well. I am so satisfied with the height of the bench that well fits the dining table. It is worth the value and I am happy with it. I will consider purchasing one more bench if I need to invite more friends to the birthday party. ... show more

We originally bought this to go outside on our front porch, however after putting it together which only took myself doing it about 15 minutes, we saw the beauty in the wood and craftsmanship that we decided to keep it indoors, lol! So, we now have a new little sitting nook by a window and extra seating for friends and family.
