Please forgive my patio. We had an uncommonly severe winter here in Connecticut so I have many outdoor projects. It’s only the end of April. This is a nice, sturdy, patio set. I am a retired service technician so working with my hands is common. This does have a little bit of a difficulty rating. If you’re new at assembling things or not comfortable with tools you might want to ask for a little bit of help. It took about 3 1/2 hours to assemble the entire set. They do supply tools, but they’re cheap throwaways so I did utilize my own tool bag. Much of the assembly is unpacking and studying all of the parts, nuts, bolts, washers, etc., prior to even attempting this. Completely opening and unwrapping each box is also critical. This set does seem like it will last a long time, especially if I stored indoors the shed for the winter.

After opening the box, please check for any dents. Pour table had a dent and we found it after putting it together. We had trouble putting the chairs together because the instructions did not show how. All the instructions showed was letters to go with the parts. It is made in China. I guess I should have expected that. It does need 2 people to put the set together. It looked nice when we finally got it together.

The fabric is super breathable and very pleasant to sit on. My family helped with the assembly, which was easy and quick for all of us. The quality is top-notch, both in the fabric and the framework; it feels like it’s built to last.

The table and chairs will arrive in three separate boxes that are packed very well. The assembly directions are ok and moderately easy to build. I had a problem with two chairs that had the arms labeled wrong. The chair swivels work but are not designed very robust and I think they will be problematic down the road. The way they are designed to not only swivel but allow the chairs to rock back and forth. The steel tube that is the main support is very thin and the rocking action WILL deform the main tube sooner or later. This area should have been beef up with a thicker tube. It looks like the swivel joint was a after thought. The joint should have been designed with thicker tubes using nylon bushings as wear surfaces. As it stands now they are just two tubes one inside the other allowing the chair to swivel. Metal to metal contact not good. It's a shame they cheaped out on the chair swivel because over all its a well build and comfortable set.

I have wanted a new table and chairs on my deck for the past year or two. It is an uncovered deck and we had a nice wrought iron table that had been out here almost 19 years and it was done in. The wrought iron one was great at holding up to the weather but wasn’t the most comfortable and wasn’t the look I was wanting anymore. Plus, a new wrought iron table and chairs was quite expensive. So I shopped around for the longest time and read so many reviews. I am so glad I went with this one. It’s a great price for a great looking, good quality, comfortable set. Some say that it’s hard to put together but my husband is very handy and had it all put together with the help of our 12 year old son in about 30-45 minutes. I can see it would be pretty challenging and time-consuming to do with only one set of hands. If you have any way of having a helper it’s very helpful. It has been a really rainy month since we put it out and I see no rust. I will say, that I tested it out by turning one of the chairs on the side and a little rusty water did come out. I wouldn’t normally need to turn any chairs completely on their side like this, I was doing it to test, but beware that that does happen. Our deck is stained brown so it didn’t leave a stain so that’s not an issue for me but it could be for some. I highly doubt that this will last 19 years like our last set did, due to the conditions and being uncovered, but for the price and all, I will be fine with it lasting a few years.
