I am a Mobile DJ who has been deejaying many events a year since 1999. I have owned Wireless microphones from Audio Technica, SHURE, NADY, Voco Pro, GTD, and now Phenyx Pro. I saw this system on sale here on Amazon for $98.39 after a 20% discount, and the specs seemed like exactly what I want for my microphone needs. I have a 7 year old Shure BLX Combo system where the lavalier mix transmitter box has been malfunctioning so I wanted a combo handheld/lavalier wireless set up. I decided to give this Phenyx Pro 52B system a try, and I AM IMPRESSED! The build quality surpasses what I expected for a system in the $100 price range. The sound is good out of both the hand held, and the lavalier box. These microphones are not as sensitive as SHURE microphones are so they do need to be closer to the speaker's mouth, but the sensitivity is not bad at all. I am really impressed with the range! I did a distance test outside at a park in 32 degree windy weather today. I was able to walk over 400 feet away from my table/speaker/receiver box with the hand held, and it still had a clear wireless signal! With the lavalier box, I was able to walk about 250 feet from the receiver box before I started getting signal drop outs! I compared this system to my Shure BLX system that cost $599.99 when I purchased it. This Phenyx Pro system out performed the Shure BLX system in signal distance! I couldn't believe it! The Shure hand held pushed 300 feet, but the SHURE lavalier box get's cut outs, and signal drops starting at 50 feet, and by the time I got to 100 feet away, the SHURE lavalier mic had no signal whatsoever. Granted, my Shure BLX system is over 5 years old, and used a lot, but this new Phenyx System really surprises me! It even came with a carry case, wind screen, and am attachment to keep the handheld stable and not roll around on the table when you put it down on a table! I am truly impressed with this sytem, and for $98.39 it's a BARGAIN! Just buy this system, you will be very happy that you did!

I really appreciate that the system came in a hard case and cushioned. Every is very sturdy. The receiver is made of metal as are the antenna connectors. The instructions are easy to read. I had it set up and functional in about 15 minutes right out of the box. Everything is wrapped so nothing is scratched. The headset mic is great; along with the belt pack. I’m also impressed that there is a storage area for the 4 batteries (2 for belt pac, 2 for hand held mic). It worked well for our Easter Church Service.

Generally pleased with this mic set. Works well for our speakers who have the tendency to turn away from the pulpi mic. 1st set had a faulty body pack. 2nd works. 4 stars as they could have better squelch as there is the occasional interference. Our vocal mics (off while this is in use) are in the same band and do not have this issue. Changing the frequency is a breeze which is always a great benefit. Overall a good unit for the money for most general speaking applications.

The system worked as described and delivered very good sound. I did have an issue with the backpack unit not being able to switch channels. This is not to be confused with switching frequencies. Their customer service is only available by email. It is not possible to talk to anyone in person which is inconvenient but they are very responsive via email. We exchanged numerous emails and videos but could not resolve the problem. Without having to ask, Phenyx Pro sent me a replacement mic at no charge. The replacement worked perfectly. I would definitely by additional equipment from Phenyx Pro in the future based on my experience with this purchase.

I use this for our church class meetings. We have some elderly people in our congregation and it is hard for them to hear the teacher and comments in the classrooms during Sunday school. This is a great product because we plug it into our sound system and it allows the teacher to have a mic (either headset or body pack) and to simultaneously use a handheld mic to pass around for comments from the congregation. Sound is clear and crisp. Easy to use. Most especially Phenyx has fantastic customer service and got back to me within 24 hours when I had an issue getting one of the mics to sync. Definitely recommend this product!

I bought this wireless system, because what I read in the reviews. I was a little skeptical about this system, but surpass all my expectations. I bought to use it for something simple, but ended up using it in my church, because they need a wireless microphone in a rush, so I borrow my system. They taught it was a Shure system. That’s how good it sounds. Never got a problem, no interference, no breaking up, no feedback, and they were using it for 2 hours straight. I really recommend this wireless system. The church is thinking to buy a couple of this systems.
