I like the look of all white dishes but have found that they scratch and wear more than I'd like. I like the simplicity of white but wanted something that might wear better so I've been searching for a neutral set of dishes and these are perfect! The little bit of raised detailing really adds to the overall look and matches well with a modern farmhouse theme while still being classic enough to work with any home theme. I was familiar with the Pfaltzgraff brand and am happy to say these are living up to the quality I expected so far. We've been using these for a month now and have had no issues with scratching or chipping and they wash up really nicely in the dishwasher. I ordered a second set and retired all our old dishes. I love these. I was looking for a set that was similar to my last but I wanted something more lightweight and something that holds less heat if you microwave them. These are perfect, the color, the feel of them, the size is great. I do kind of wish I could by separate sizes for the plates and I can see how some people may not like the feel of these plates as they don't have that glossy feel to them.
