They are casual enough for every day use but also look nice enough for a dinner party! They wash easily in the dishwasher. The bowls come in two sizes (pasta and cereal sizes). The set I bought also came with coffee cups, which are actually the perfect size to use as soup bowls. I really like the bowls, but I was surprised that the outside of the bowls are light blue which I couldn’t tell from the pictures when I bought them. Absolutely beautiful dish set! Great for everyday use as well as for a dinner party. Well made not too heavy. Love the round shape of the mugs not the easiest to stack.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this set is. The quality and beauty are amazing. Very sturdy and they look very expensive but they are not. This set will not disappoint.

    • Good, but batches do vary in color.
Different - so far seem like good quality. Little thinner compared to our last set so we will see how long they last. I got 3 sets of 4 settings (16 piece is a setting for 4) so 12 settings for the occasional holiday party/guests. Color and design are nice. All 3 sets arrives with no damage and were packaged well. My only complaint (hence -1 star) is that each set is slightly different color - particularly on the outside. I have one set that seems like they didn't wipe the glaze off the outside as much as the other two which makes it far whiter and harder to see the outside design. The other two are much closer. I could do an exchange, but that will be the extra set that's stored most of the time. ... show more

Although I love the size and patterns one chipped the first month. I’m going to look for single replacements. It’s very pretty, large. Hot when taking out of microwave is a definite drawback.
