Smaller than I thought but it worked out for my small dog. Perfect size for him. Squeak isn’t too loud, so that’s nice. He will play with it for a long time flopping it around. I’ve bought several of the Outward Hound Hedgehogz plush toys in different sizes, but this was my first time ordering the XL and my dog absolutely loves it! There’s something about this toy that makes it her favorite; she runs around the house with it all the time. We’ve been fans of the brand for a while, and this toy didn’t disappoint. It’s not ideal for tough chewers because of the stuffing, but it’s perfect for dogs that just love carrying around and playing with plush toys. Highly recommend for light chewers ... show more

My puppies absolutely love their hedgehog plush dog toys! They’re super cute and the squeaker inside keeps them entertained for hours. It’s always so fun to watch them carry these little hedgehogs around and play tug of war. The only downside is that they don’t seem to last very long with my active puppies. The Outward Hound Hedgehogz Plush Dog Toy in XL has quickly become my dog’s absolute favorite! I have a large German Shepherd who can be quite rough with toys, but this plush hedgehog has held up surprisingly well. The toy is a great size for big dogs, and my dog loves carrying it around everywhere. The squeaker inside adds an extra level of excitement, and the grunting sound it makes when squeezed is a unique feature that my dog finds irresistible. It’s been weeks, and the squeaker is still working perfectly, which is a huge plus! What I love most about this toy is its durability. Despite my dog’s vigorous play, the seams have stayed intact, and the fabric is tough enough to withstand all the chewing, tugging, and shaking. This is one of my dogs favorite toys. One of the few he has not destroyed! !!!!! Well made! The stuffing is soft, it doesn't bounce! He does chew the toy, but it doesn't rip. We ordered the XL because we have a Great Dane and mastiff. It made me LOL when I opened the box because I wasn't expecting it to be so big. And the dogs loved it. My lab could barely pick it up. But it was the shortest lasting toy we've had in a long time, maybe ever. Our dogs are not super chewers, they don't play tug or war. They mainly just carry toys around, play catch with them, or chew/suckle on them when bored. They opened the seam on this in a day or two. I ended up throwing away all the stuffing from the inside so they can still play with the outside. I've put tennis balls inside so they can have some fun by removing the tennis balls. It's also still fine to play catch with and they can still carry it around. But it's not as exciting to them now that it doesn't squeak or have any filling. We've had good experiences with Outward Hound in the past. Not sure what happened with this particular toy. ... show more

My dog loves this toy. It's her go to toy. She loves the squeaker. It's great entertainment for her. The only downside is that it only lasts for a day or two. I don't have stock in this toy so I definitely can't be buying 1 every other day. Otherwise, it will definitely be a winner for your furball.
