My dogs easily accept brushing with Petsmile. It seems to prevent tartar buildup, and seemed to remove some tartar from an adult adopted dog's teeth. (Nothing will remove a heavy buildup except a professional dental cleaning.) I brush my dogs' teeth nightly, and it's a part of their bedtime routine. Caveat--while it is recommended for cats, I haven't attempted brushing my cats' teeth. I like my fingers intact.

I’ve only been using this now for a few days and really do see a difference. I have a 13 year old chihuahua that has all her teeth but this tiny front ones. Vet says it’s common to lose those. But she has all her canines and molars. She used to have a groomer that scraped her teeth monthly but he’s retired. So her teeth have been getting discolored. This stuff was outrageously priced compared to others but GLAD I bought it well worth it! This was just after a few uses and trust me I’m a real person and they weren’t horrible but definetely discolored.

I chose this toothpaste because it is only VOHC approved product. I do not know it will work better than other products but it is good product. Nothing bad about it. May be little pricey than other products.

I got this after I realized all of the ingredients in my previous toothpaste. It's definitely a little pricey but I am so happy I made the switch. I got the cheese flavor and my lil guy seems to like it. He still isn't thrilled about having his teeth brushed but he's getting used to it.
