This is a great little bird feeder for the price! Had difficulty finding anything like it. The directions aren't too difficult - there is just one problem where the instructions don't match the item. There is a little stand piece that holds the small tray up- this needs to be rotated to stand more vertically for it to make sense. It stumped me for a minute because I was trying to match the picture!

The instructions are not at all clear & it’s not easy to build this bird feeder. Extra effort and super difficult! Updated review: It’s strong and survives through the rain, thunderstorms and summer heat. Beautiful and worth the money finally!

Completed bird feeder is outstanding. Problem I experienced was in receiving the assembly instructions for the regular bird feeder; however, I purchased the large feeder and there is some variance in parts/assembly procedure. Contacted Petsfit and never did get the issue resolved. Finally, got the feeder constructed thru trial and error.

The included “instructions “ are just basic pictures, with no identifying markings on the many pieces. Two of the legs are badly warped, and some of the “pre-drilled” holes aren’t complete. Not an easy assembly job. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Easy to assemble, though it took me 3 tries to get the roof supports on the right way round. Seems very stable on the three wide spread legs. Did not like the pre-stain color but easily fixed after a trip to the hardware store. Added a coat of polyurethane varnish to try and extend life in Texas sun.

The packing was excellent. The screwdriver is included with screws...and the screws are on a labeled piece of cardboard. The instructions for assembly are the Achilles heel and kept me from a 5 star rating. The instructions and box do not have a photograph of the bird feeder, which would improve assembly. I used the photo from Amazon. More details are necessary, especially for mounting the roof to the stand. The entire assembly took 1.5 hours, of which almost 60 minutes was the roof/stand attachment. Overall a C for instructions and an A for the product and packing. I recommend having 2 people for assembly.

My only complaint is the very large wingnut in the middle of the house part. It gets buried under the seed and I worry about the birds pecking into the pile and hitting the hard steel screw and wingnut.
