Now, go figure a 40$ safe is not going to be Fort Knox and you can’t expect it out of this. This photo is of the safe at 2 months old with regular use. You can set 2 codes for the safe, and this is more of if someone wants in they are going to have to break it open, so if your getting this to keep relatives out of your stuff I’d consider this, having to break it open is a decent deterrent. The tab to slide the lock bolts in place is plastic and is considerably loose, meaning if someone trying to force it open it would snap off with not a lot of pressure leaving it locked. It’s not hard to break in, someone can open it with a screw driver and 2 mins of time. But for what it costs and the features and functionality they have in it I’d definitely recommend this as a beginner safe, something for kids or to keep relatives out of your things. In the case you are robbed, this safe won’t be all that reliable. It can be torn off the wall, or busted open with minimal time. But great beginner safe. ... show more

Got the safe in, I was happy and excited... when taking it out of the box it was in a plastic bag but yet it had dings and chipped paint... seems to have been used..it had new on the item... my next issue some @$%# person had locked it with the keys on the inside...which usually the key is tape or bagged on the outside of a safe... so disappointed i had to send it back no way to get inside it at all.. and no codes had been sent to be able to open it as well... ... show more

Really love this compact safe. My boys love their devices but I am over them sneaking them out of my room to use, so this is a oerfect way to keep them locked and away when I don’t want them in use. For reference, this fits two Nintendo Switches, two phones, and a DS with room to spare.

12/23/23Functions fine, cheap little safe, smaller than expected but still fits enough, only complaint would be the paint being chipped and manually opening with key is pretty tricky edit:1/08/24 ordered another safe for myself and no issues on this one so it seems 50/50 sometimes you’ll get a slightly defective one and you’re just stuck with it but it’s $35 bucks it is what it is ... show more
