No assembly required!!!!! Spray painted it white. My dog jumped right inside and is so obsessed. I have a 20lb papillon and he has more than enough room and is snuggled all the way up in the back, you can’t see him in the photo. I got a size small. Highly recommend!!!!

This item was the absolute best thing I could get my fur-baby!!! If you need an idea on size; I got the biggest size and that was enough to fit my miniature schnauzer comfortably with wiggle room. It’s definitely a great hiding spot for those timid and shy doggies! I will say that the top piece split on me the very first day. I tried to keep it down with the latch but I guess the latches or the screws in the back were two tight and it made the top split when I tried to lock it. This is exactly what we needed! We have the 35" x 23" x 27" doghouse in a corner window. Our rescue cat enjoys perching and sleeping with a thick thai mat and cat bed on top. There's room for some toys and a food bowl too. We had been using one of the planter style litter containers (looks like a terra cotta planter), and this fits inside with room to spare for a scoop/holder and scratchpad, and attach an LED button light inside.. She came from an outdoor life, and likes the privacy of the hidden loo/ potty inside, and it's big enough that the air stays fresh. Easy to clean from the large open door, or open the lid for a deeper clean. We like the natural pine, smells good, is smooth and clean, and it looks beautiful next to our other cat's wooden condo, and in our home. Bought this little house for my indoor cat's litter box. Nice looking, sturdy construction, pops together easily right out of the box. The latch on the roof is slightly misaligned so it won't latch but I don't need it to. The floor is slatted so I lined it with plastic to keep litter from falling through. Hides the litter box perfectly and contains the smell. The hatch roof is great for scooping her box easily. Overall a pretty good product. ... show more

I love this pet "house". I bought mine to hide the cat's litter box. It's bigger than the usual "end table" kind you generally see, but, those also won't really hold a decent size litter box. I wouldn't describe this as anything other than a wooden box or crate. It's a simple design, crazy simple to unfold and it's ready to use. It is real wood and very smooth with strong hinges. It is plenty sturdy enough for an adult to sit on. If you want to stain or paint it with a little imagination it could fit in anywhere you want it. The top is hinged to open completely so access is excellent for cleaning/filling. I'm going to put plexi glass down on the bottom to protect the wood from moisture. It does fold back up easily. This is not a portable, travel friendly unit. It's big and it's heavy. Folding it up makes it easier to move around the house. I'm very happy with this purchase. ... show more

For the money, this is perfect. Easily unfolds & folds back together so it’s easy to move. It also feels incredibly sturdy. I use it to hide my cat’s litter box & it’s perfect! Large enough inside to fit her jumbo sized covered cat pan & room for her to move around so she doesn’t track litter on to the carpet. Small downside is that there are cracks between the wooden slats of the floor of the doghouse, so if you’re worried about litter falling through the cracks or dog nails getting stuck, You should line it with a blanket or rug. I used boards & I just sweep up any tacked litter inside with a small brush and dustpan that I keep inside the box. Getting inside is also very easy because the lid stays up without you needing to hold it. This is very handy when trying to clean a litter box one-handed. Overall, highly recommend! Doesn’t look out of place at all & now my guests can finally use the guest bathroom without having to navigate around a litter box. ... show more
