Made a Big Difference for Both of My Dogs

I bought these because one of my younger adult dogs had started getting a little stiff when getting up in the mornings. He wasn't a senior—just not a puppy anymore. I started giving him one chew a day, and after a few weeks I noticed he was moving around much easier and seemed more comfortable overall. What really sold me on these, though, was my Great Dane. He had started showing signs of hip dysplasia, so I put him on these as part of his daily routine. In my experience, they made a noticeable difference. He got up easier, moved around with less discomfort, and they seemed to help keep him comfortable for many months—possibly close to a year. Of course, every dog is different, but they've worked very well for both of mine. They also think they're a treat, so giving them every day is easy. Definitely works, my tiny 10 months yorkie was limping, had pain and her hip or knee was dislocating. This amazing supplement helped her get back her mobility and she’s back to be the energetic puppy. She loves taking it too, I cut it in small pieces for easy to chew.

My dad has a deep love for German Shepherds. Since he was a kid, he's rescued several, along with Alaskan Malamutes, and continues to raise Shepherds with so much care. Keeping them healthy and happy is a big priority for our family. We went through a lot of trial and error with joint supplements, trying different brands that either didn't work well/at all or just weren't worth the cost. I kept searching and finally struck gold with this one. It's more affordable, way more effective and best of all, they actually enjoy it. We've had four German Shepherds: Bonnie, Cassandra (8), Keanu (7) and Aika (4) along with my Lab/Terrier mix named Migi (10). Bonnie passed at 14, but these chews truly gave her more time with us. She was picky, but she loved these. They're soft and chewy, which was perfect for her as a senior. She was the sweetest baby and loved to play fetch, always possessive of the stick and never wanting to give it back. Once she started taking these, she went right back to her playful, bright eyed puppy self, moving with ease. We didn't need to give her Cytopoint or Librela injections anymore, which saved us money and spared her the stress. Most importantly, she was so comfortable and happy in her final years. These dogs act like hyper puppies because these help them stay that way. Migi loves them too, and she is pickier like Bonnie was. All in all, these supplements help keep our dogs healthy, mobile and full of life. They've removed the need for any maintenance injections. I can see the difference

This actually work. I have been giving them to my dog for 2 months. He's getting older but I can tell he moves a lot easier and faster. No digestion or skin issues. I highly recommend them for an aging pooch.

Terrible packaging

Even though my dog loves these, and they seem to have helped her joints, the packaging is not good, hence only 3 stars. Today when I received it, the container was open, and all of the contents were spilled out into the delivery bag. Another time, they arrived with the package also open, and the chews all stuck together in a big clump. I was not sure whether to still give these to my dog in this condition. I contacted Amazon, and they are refunding my payment for today's delivery. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has had an issue with the packaging. ... show more

A difference within 48 hours!

Edit 10/14/2020- We are still thrilled with this product. Berry BooDog thinks the supplements are delicious and she is enjoying obvious pain relief. We did experience a side effect, however. It WAS OUR OWN FAULT. But I wanted to give a warning to others to avoid making the mistake we made. After a couple of weeks I noticed something was off with The Boo. She seemed a bit sluggish and was frequently asking to go outside to do her business. Also, this hoggy doggy was turning her nose up at snacks! I did some fast research and it turns out she was constipated. We had given her too much of the supplement. It was pretty easy to forget this is a supplement and not a snack because she loves them so much. On the label is states you can start out at a certain dose but then lower it and we had not lowered it when we were supposed to. From my research I learned that, while it isn't terribly common, this sort of supplement can cause constipation with higher doses. I also learned that at her size we could give her stool softener. I paired that with foods that would help her to go and it passed quickly. Lesson learned. We were so excited to see her get some relief that we were not as careful as we should have been. As I said this was our own fault and not the fault of the product at all. This is a wonderful product to help with the pain and stiffness Berry has experienced as she has aged. We will continue to purchase this and provide it for her as it has really improved her quality of life. Original review: I am thrilled with this product. Our girl is getting up there and having some problems with pain and we could tell this because she struggled with the stairs. She also struggled getting into her favorite chair that's always been hers. I found this product by searching on Amazon and this is the 1st one I've tried. I expected maybe with see some relief for her after a month maybe a couple of weeks if we were lucky. I was surprised to see our girl coming up the steps much more quickly and seeming much happier within the 1st couple of days! I didn't mention anything and my husband commented on it independently. It's a hands down difference in speed and ability to maneuver that is unmistakable. She loves to eat these and to her they are like a treat when she comes in from outside, so I can give her *medicine* and it's also a yummy treat! These are very competitively priced compared to other products. We are delighted to have have something to helps her pain and stiffness that she also loves and that is very affordable.
