The media could not be loaded. EDIT#1- 2.5-3 (ish) week update: I still LOVE this feeder! So far, I haven’t had any issues. The sliding door works perfectly and hasn’t gotten stuck at all. I did see a review mentioning food bits getting stuck in the slot the door slides into- fingers crossed, but I haven’t experienced that. The feeding components are super easy to take apart and clean. Bonus: no more feeding mice. Their food source is officially cut off. Trying to train cats who’ve grazed their entire lives is a stress none of us can handle at this episode of “Is This Real Life?”. With this feeder, she can still graze as she pleases. It’s the perfect solution! My cat took to it immediately, no hesitation. I even switched the RFID to a cuter collar, and it works just fine. —————— So far, so good! I’m writing this review having only set up the feeder today, and I’ll update it if anything changes. I’m truly hoping the reported bugs and glitches others have mentioned don’t occur, because I really like this feeder so far. I purchased it primarily because winter temperatures arrived unusually early and harsh this season, which has unfortunately brought mice indoors. Despite keeping a clean and tidy home, my house is old. They managed to find their way in- and worse, discovered the cat food. My other automatic feeder dispenses food into an open dish, and my cats have grazed on dry food (with wet food in between) their entire lives. I needed something that would keep their food covered while still allowing them to graze, since trying to change their feeding habits at this point would be difficult. Pros: The feeder was easy to assemble and set up. The stainless steel bowl is a great touch- it’s easy to clean and helps prevent cat chin acne. The unit itself feels very sturdy, and the covered design keeps food securely contained, preventing pests and spills. I can’t imagine a cat strong or clever enough to knock it over, and even if it were tipped, the lid locks securely on two sides, which should prevent any food from spilling out. It’s also impressively quiet, and I appreciate that it includes a backup battery in case of a power outage. Cons: The only downside I’ve noticed so far is that the bottom tray with the RFID reader is a bit long. I prefer to elevate my cats’ food and water bowls, so this design makes it slightly awkward to use unless the feeder sits flat on the floor. Luckily this doesn’t stop my greedy girl from eating her food whatsoever. Overall, I’m really excited to see how this works out long term and hopeful it continues to perform as well as it has so far. ... show more

I bought two of the Petlibro RFID cat feeders, one for each of my cats, and so far I’m really impressed. Both units arrived extremely well-packaged — everything was neatly organized, and nothing felt cheap or flimsy. Setup was straightforward and user-friendly, even with two feeders to connect and program. The instructions were clear, and pairing the RFID tags went off without a hitch. It’s only been a short time, but the feeders are working great so far. The build quality feels solid, and the design looks sleek enough to blend nicely into my home. My cats caught on quickly to how it works, and I love that each feeder recognizes the right cat — no more sneaky food sharing! Pro: I bought two of these They work great to ensure both cats eat what they should. They keep time well, so that both cats can eat at the same time. I found some other products lose time and dispense food at different times. Con: There is one drawback that we have found. Currently the door keeps trying to close on the device while the cat is eating. Then the cat will slide back a little to avoid the door and the sensor will pickup that she is a I’ll there, and open. It’s not a huge problem as long as she has the will to keep eating, otherwise it forces her to stop. App: seems to work great. We don’t use all the functions, but the ones we do use operate well. ... show more

Works great! Took a little bit for my cat to start using it. Needed this rfid one cause one of my cats keep bullying the other out of eating her food! Now she doesn’t have to worry about him stealing her food 🙂 Set up was good. Little trouble with the Bluetooth connection but it’s working great now! Good size bowl and feeder. I really wanted to love this feeder because the concept is great, especially for multi-pet homes with different diets. Unfortunately, the unit I received was missing a part, which made it unusable right out of the box. Because of that, I ended up returning it and decided not to repurchase. It’s disappointing, since the RFID and personalized feeding features sounded very promising. Easy to assemble and works as described. Downside: The whole point of this is to prevent another animal from getting to the food. But the lid closes too slowly even on the fast 1 second speed. The second cat pounces on it the moment the eating cat steps aside. You cannot set it up where the rfid tag closes the lid, as opposed to opening the lid. Also, my eating cat won't wear the collar and I rather the door close on the non eating cat when the non eating cat approaches. They make this update and I would keep the product. ... show more

Useless product, the lid still closes way too slow even at the fastest 1-second setting, giving all the time in the world for the other pet to steal the food (the closing time is actually closer to 5 seconds at the fastest setting, not 1). The RFID chip is also too sensitive, the lid will stay open even from a foot away. Constantly one cat is just sitting there watching the other cat stealing his food while the lid is fully open. The hardware is solid but the software makes it completely useless. It needs adjustment knobs in the app for RFID sensitivity & an closing upon double collar detection feature like SureFeed feeders. ... show more
