    • Overall very good product with excellent customer support.
The boxes are heavy, so know that you may need help lifting them. Connecting the gas to the log set is the only work that requires some comfort with technical knowhow. If you are not familiar or comfortable working with gas lines, you may need to hire someone to connect it for you. The instructions were simple and clear. I did have a need to call the company for tech support on one issue; it took only second to get someone on the phone who answered my question right away. Very happy with the quality of the customer service. The light brown on the "logs" looks a little too much like paint. Perhaps because I work a lot with wood, the light brown does not look exactly right to me. The dark portions of the logs look very good. They included a number of fittings for the gas lines, to adapt to different customer set ups. That was very helpful. They also included a 13 inch flexible gas line; but this was too short for our needs; we called the company, they said they do not sell longer gas lines. But we found a perfect substitute that was long enough on Amazon: Stanbroil 1/2" OD x 3/8" ID 18" Non-Whistle Flexible Flex Gas Line with Brass Ends for NG or LP Fire Pit and Fireplace They include a small device you can install on the damper to keep it from closing all the way, a device like this is recommended for gas fireplaces. But the device they provided does not work on our damper. Overall, the log set looks pretty awesome when the fire is going. We're pretty happy with it. ... show more
