I have purchased this style of pet bed/cave several times in the past from different sellers. My cats have used and enjoyed all of them. BUT I have to say this particular pet bed is the BEST I have ever purchased. I got the 19x19x19 size since it and the 16" were the same price. It popped open and held its shape without any effort, the fabric is very sturdy, soft corduroy. The pillow inside isn't flat like all the others I've had. It's thick and fluffy. Even though I was aware of the dimensions, this is still much bigger than I anticipated with plenty of room. My cat is a stocky tabby who weighs 12 pounds and there is enough room for one more cat his size without being crowded at all. My cat, Charlie went right inside as soon as I set it up and he hasn't come out yet! Over all, I am very impressed with the size, shape, appearance, quality. I floored by the quality - looks good, feels soft and fantastic value for the money. My pup, who is not crate trained, was coaxed into it by a treat and he stayed in it. Got the corduroy version and it's the thick (wide lines) material - looks like a patterned cloth instead of simply corduroy. Update: My pup was curled up on the sofa and he got up and walked inside of his Tent Bed - pup approved! Second update: 1. It has a loop on top so you may hang it, if your pet likes the "hammock" feel. 2. While my pup was inside, I placed a blanket over the opening to give him more privacy/darkness. 3. My pup likes to jump on top of it. The top collapses onto itself and converts into a makeshift regular dog bed. So versatile. I have a hard time finding a house for my 23 lb cat so I had to go to the small dog category. This fits 2 cats for a total of 40 lbs. putting it into the washer makes it easy to keep clean and it folds like an accordion, so it’s easy to travel with. I don’t get the hoop on the top, however. My little chihuahua loved this bed, and it was a perfect size. I threw in a small, soft blanket and he went right in without hesitation, and now sleeps through the night cozy and snug. I like the pattern and the fact that the bed holds its shape. The pillow that they include for the bottom could be thicker, but you can always add a fluffy blanket or even a different pillow. For a collapsible cat bed this is high quality. It’s not too big so if you have a large cat, you might want to size up my normal size cat loves to cuddle up small and have his own little cuddle spot. Very thick and warm.

I thought the opening would be bigger, my dog didn’t like it. It also collapsed too easily, which is a result of the easy assembly design. He didn’t like that it would fold in on him when he’d run inside. It was just too small for him but this was the biggest size available. My dog isn’t huge but he’s not tiny either. This is quality and sturdy. Obtained for five month old kitten who is projected to be a huge cat. He loves it. Our 8 year old cat isn’t even curious about it. I put a few treats inside for her and she ate them and turned around and left. Maybe it’s best for kittens who like to explore — ours also likes a new cat tunnel and again, our older cat isn’t interested at all.
