Ive been using MSI boards since 1998. They are the most consistently reliable for me, and I have tried many others along the way. This board keeps up the tradition, with all top end features, well built with high quality materials, heatsinks everywhere and my personal favorite UEFI configuration UI, most of which I dislike immensely. I did have to finally retire my trusty PCI slot M-Audio Delta-44, but onboard Realtek can record at 24/96 all day now so....... still a bittersweet parting with a card originally sold for use with Windows 98. The trade off is 6 SATA, 4 M.2 that dont share controller space, TONS of USB3, USB-C, built in Wi-Fi and BT, 2.5G LAN port that works with xfinity gateways, etc. Tech Support - very good, most notably in that I have rarely ever had to contact them. Advantages - easy setup even with a "clean" installation of the operating system, the ability to overclock the processor, RAM, excellent product support from the manufacturer (fresh drivers, firmware) and much more. Cons - I did not find any. The only wish for those who want to use it - do not be lazy and study the compatibility of your RAM with this motherboard! (on the manufacturer's website) otherwise there may be disappointment from the inability to fully reveal the potential of the RAM. ... show more

No rgb on the board is a plus. This board has tons of pins/slots for upgrading/adding storage, fans, ram in the future. I put a 14700k, rtx 3080 and a set of crucial ddr5 6400 on this board. With a BIOS flash before first boot, it supported 14th gen intel no problem. Everything worked so well together that I got a post on my first try. The flash bios button was incredibly nice and the troubleshooting leds would have been helpful if I had any issues during the build. Couple of gripes would be the usb3.0 header should have been on the right side of the board for cleaner cabling. Maybe it's the cases fault but the IO shield doesn't line up well for me. ... show more

Looks great and it was really a friendly build. I built 5 pc's for friends and family for Christmas and this was my favorite board in this price range. Wifi is robust and is rock solid. ARGB works well but I do have an issue with Armory Crate software. The software wants to license across the net but just hangs and has to be canceled. Did some research and this seems to happen with everyone. Sadly, that windows must be closed. Annoying but the software works, and I suspect they will fix it. ... show more

perfectly serviceable motherboard, but there are a couple missing design features that prevent this from being a 5* purchase. The biggest one is the lack of any USB-C connectivity; there is one USB-C back port, but if your case/tower has a USB-C port that you need to connect to the motherboard, you're out of luck and will need to buy an adapter - and even then, you're going to have slower transfer speeds. In addition, the spacing of the RAM and CPU slots make it extremely difficult to properly install 2 RAM sticks without the CPU fan knocking one out of place later when you're setting up. In addition, the built-in bluetooth was so bad that I needed to get an adapter for that as well. ... show more

Great MB, as with any MB these days, minimal instructions, so one has to know generally what you're doing. There are 4 M.2 slots. Three with rotating "latches" a fourth with no post nor screw. The third latch (see picture) has a problem. In order to have clearance to fully rotate to the "open" position (where the SSD card's notch is to be held in position), the "handle" of the latch runs into a neighboring component such that the range of motion is constrained. It cannot rotate enough to clear the latch. So you have to unscrew and re-screw the entire rotating latch. I'm re-using this third latch in the fourth SSD slot (where there was none), and just using a screw and post (not included)... where this problem prevents the latch from being used anyway. To my eye, the fan connections are ambiguous, and i cannot find a clear chart anywhere for conflicts btwn M.2 SATA slots, and the six SATA female sockets. I've read if you use M.2, it supersedes using the corresponding socket. ... show more

Used this as the backbone of my 4070Ti 13700K build! Had no issues whatsoever with any I/O front connectors themselves OR the I/O shield messing with standoff heights in the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo (case used for the build). The manual can be found on the box via a QR code, and there is also an optical disk for flashing BIOS if you have one of those! Don't forget that ethernet connections won't work out of box until you download the necessary drivers, so I'd really recommend using the antennae that is provided! Especially if you will be sticking with a wireless connection for one reason or another. Product registration on MSI was also a breeze. I've had no stability or interference issues on my DDR5 system, and really couldn't be any happier with how well this motherboard is treating me. Stop overspending on RGB header motherboards, and stick with simple, effective, and affordable Z790 Pro! ... show more

Llevo usando el pc que yo mismo armé aproximadamente 2 meses y hasta el momento no me ha dado problema la placa base, viene con un cd el cual sirve para instalar los drivers, el problema es que a estas alturas de la vida los CD's ya no se usan, menos mal tenia un lector de discos y fue sencilla la instalación. Para que lo tengan en cuenta esta placa base al instalarle Windows 11 si ví que tenia un problema y era con respecto al wifi cuando se instala Windows, vi que no era el unico al que le pasaba, la solución es o conseguir un lector de disco para los drivers o descargar en una usb los drivers de la placa base de la pagina e intalarlos manualmente, sin embargo hasta el momento ne he tenido problemas, la placa tiene tiene todo lo que yo quería y en 189 usd fue una buena compra, nada de que quejarme por el momento ... show more
