I bought this VOSOIR brand dog door to replace my previous dog door, which lasted about 7 years. It was one of the big brand names, and I had hoped it would have lasted longer. This dog door seems to be very well built, with the frame primarily made out of aluminum. My previous dog door was plastic, which dried out and cracked, so I am hoping the aluminum will last much longer. This is the wall version, with two door flaps which seem to work very well. The flaps self-seal correctly due to the magnets. The dog door also looks very good. The installation was very easy, especially since I was replacing an existing door. I did have to enlarge the opening slightly, but luckily it fit very well. I would recommend this dog door.

Pretty good quality for the price. Went together fairly quickly. It said it was all aluminum, which both sides of the frame were indeed aluminum. Just for information purposes, however the sliding door to close off for security is made of plastic. Otherwise pretty satisfied with the quality of the unit, good price as well shipping was very quick. No actual complaints just for information purposes alone on the plastic slide in door.

The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this because of the steel frame and it has two flaps instead of one. It also looks nice. Door quality: Installed this so they would be able to enter garage and backyard. Didn’t have to worry about drywall for the inside, which made installation faster and easier.

Worked good for about 6 months. I’ll blame the dogs because they’re pretty ruff on it. The heavier black flap came off and was replaced a few times. Finally I just kept it off. The ridge has come off. If I could just get that one flap… Update: dropped to 1 star. The interior flap is breaking off. Not sure what to do about this other than in winter to shut it down completely. My husband, who installed it, left this plane (plain?) 9 months ago. Calling a handyman to put in a new one? Too costly and from what I’m reading, I’ll have the same issues in 6 months. To find another of same size to fit the hole??? Frustrating.

Needed to replace doggie door as my mini potbelly ruined previous with her weight coming in and out. Pros: more sleek/flush with wall than previous bulky doggie door. Loved flush/modern look. Actual doggie door attractive/sturdy/aesthetic. Why I gave 3 stars? The “security door.” WTH? It is an extremely thin piece of plywood; like 4 sheets of printer paper thin, with an even thinner outer layer of metal? Pseudo medal? Understood that this is not Fort Knox, but the slide in door is a joke. Aesthetic and sleek compared to older plastic predecessors, but have had a month and slide in security door already warping.
