    • Excellent sleeping headphones, comfortable and simple, just what you want
Sure, these don't have the best sound quality out there, and they don't cancel noise out. Not sure why people expect them to though. For 20$ these are fantastic. The sound quality is about a 7, which is more than enough for sleep sound. The headband blocks enough sound that it mostly becomes background noise or not noticeable when playing music or sleep sounds. I use the SleepA app and keep these connected to my phone at night. It really helps me stay asleep longer, and wake up at less frequent intervals throughout the night, which has been a huge problem for me and my sleep for years. These headphones do a great job at what they are designed for. They are constructed quite simply, nothing too complex here. But complexity introduces more potential points of failure, so I appreciate the simplistic design. The wires don't get knotted up and can't be felt while wearing the headband, and the slim, low profile ear phones are circular in shape and while they aren't going to stay /in/ the ear, they are comfortable and hardly noticeable. We are a side sleeper so this is especially important for us as ordinary headphones and earbuds cause pain or immense discomfort when laying on your side. You could spend 200-300+ on specially made "sleep buds" from Bose or some other high profile brand, or you could just spend 20$ on these, which do the job about as well. And even sleep buds are not as comfortable as the flat ear cups these have in the headband. Another nice feature is usb c recharging. The battery life and charging time do indeed line up with the company's claims. Lasts throughout the night with a bit of juice left in the morning, and charge in about 90 minutes, give or take about 10 minutes depending on how long we had to sleep that night. I'm not sure why some are claiming this uses micro USB. It doesn't. Micro USB is an awful and fragile connector, and I would dock points if it did use it. But it is usb c, and its a decent charge cable to the battery too. It tucks away into the sleeve of the headband and I don't even notice at night. Overall, I would rate these 5 out of 5. They may not have the best sound, but they are comfortable, durable, and do exactly what is promised. What more could you ask for? ... show more

These headphones are very nice to have when going to bed. They don’t feel like it’s wrapped around your head too tight. I do have a smaller head compared to the average person but I don’t think it’ll be an issue for others. I’m able to play music and enjoy whatever activity I’m doing. With that being said, it’s time to give my consumer perspective as I come from a musical background. Music is just like your kitchen tools. The more expensive it is, the better the quality and results. The less expensive it is, the less quality and results. Therefore PLEASE understand that these headphones are NOT Beats, JBL, V-Moda, Sony, Audio Technicas, etc. Don’t buy this and expect great clarity and EQ balance. These are $20 headphones. If you get these headphones, don’t trash the company over sound quality because you’re getting what you paid for. Don’t expect booming bass, but there’s still a little bass. You don’t hear the lows too much. You’ll only hear them when you’re playing songs where its presence is more lively like in Hip-Hop and Funk for example. The mids are in the same category with the highs. I’d say the mids are the loudest in the headphones. If going from loudest to quietest, I’d say the mids come first, the highs second, and the lows third. For those not from a musical background, the terms, “lows, mids, highs” refer to the sound frequencies of audio. To give you a general idea, in a song, your lows are more associated with bass. The louder the lows, the more bass you’ll hear. The mids are your normal sounds such as voices and instruments. The louder the mids, the easier it is to distinguish between voices and instruments/sounds. Lastly, the highs are your higher pitched sounds or the sharpness of the sounds. The louder the highs, the clearer the instrument/voice will be. Since these headphones wrap around your head, the speakers are right at your ear but are not inside. In other words, you REALLY need to have the volume up to hear your audio. I can say that I have to have about 3/4 of the volume bar up on my iPhone XR to regularly hear music. Then again, these headphones are meant for sleeping and not daily activities so please don’t judge them for that. Also, there’s barely any noise cancellation at all. Once again, these are headphones meant for sleeing. It’s expected for you to be in a quiet environment when sleeping lol. You may have the volume up on your device but any moderate noise in your environment will be heard. So you don’t need to worry about not being able to hear an alarm or someone’s voice unless your volume is all the way up and you’re a deep sleeper. Now with that out of the way, I will say that these headphones are great to have for sleeping. You’re not supposed to have loud music in your ears when sleeping and these headphones get the job done. Also, I don’t understand how this company created these headphones but even if you lay on your side while sleeping like me, your ears will still remain perfectly fine. You can press the speakers against your ear and the music won’t hurt it at all. I don’t have sensitive hearing so I can’t speak for those who do. I’d recommend this to people who want to hear music at night without disturbing others and worrying about your earphones/headphones falling out while sleeping. Do understand that you are sacrificing audio quality for comfortability and convenience. To skip songs, you tap “-“ and “+” on the headband control center. To put the volume up and down, you use the same buttons but instead of tapping, you have to press and hold it down. Lastly, the main issue I have is with the bluetooth. If you connect it to a device, you have to unpair it with the same device before you can connect it to another. There’s no bluetooth reset on the headband itself which is a little annoying but not too bad. ... show more

    • Great for listening to audio books as you fall asleep

This totally solved my problem on listening to ebooks at night. I can put my ear comfortably right against a pillow rather than dealing with irritating plastic earpieces. The fabric is super soft and stretchy. Feels almost silky, though it looks like microfiber. I got the gray tweed-like look. There are 2 flat coin-like speakers that fit inside a pocket on either side. They both attach to a single wire that you pull out of an inside slit to connect and charge it. You can wash the headband, but you must remove the speakers and wires before doing so, then hand wash. The charging wire is ridiculously short, so I charge it on the floor near the closest outlet. It lasts for hours. I put on the headband, press the top button on the forehead. "Power on." is announced, even when you're not playing anything. Bluetooth only needs to be connected once and was fairly easy. The only downside is the 2 speaker disks don't align properly to my ears. I think they designed this for men or women with larger heads than mine. The result is outstanding, clear hearing on the right side, and slightly muffled on the left. Perhaps I got a faulty one, but it's still usable. You can also use the wide headband as an eye mask. Totally comfortable, though no nose cut-out. Overall, I would buy it again because I now sleep like a baby, even with the headband on all night. ... show more

I bought this bluetooth speaker headband to use while (falling) asleep. Normal earbuds are painful when lying down, but I can lie on my back or side with this headband quite comfortably. Sound quality is better than expected, and I like how I can adjust the positioning of the speakers and the headband, even to be like an eye mask. Only thing I would change is to add a little padding behind the controller to make the edges less sharp on the forehead. Overall though, I'm very happy with it. ... show more
