TLDR; You get what you pay for. These may block light if mounted in a window, but I don't recommend them for outside mounting. The open cassette design as well as strain put on the top cells as it stretches down calls into question the durability over time. These would be great for temporary living situations or for those on a budget who don't mind replacing them further down the line. The quality seems decent for the price. It was easy to mount. The workmanship seems flawless and the materials are more than adequate. I have 3 complaints though. First the top of the cassette is open which allows dust, dead bugs and other debris to settle into the mechanism which may cause problems in the future. This wouldn't be as big of an issue perhaps if you purchase the in window option. Second is that the honey combs stretch out at the top until they are narrow ovals, while those toward the bottom are almost completely flat. I hope that the stretching at the top doesn't compromise the durability over time. I'd like to see a more uniform shape throughout. Finally, and this by far my biggest complaint, It doesn't stop the light! I bought black out blinds, because I am a day sleeper, and mounting bracket holds the blinds an inch and a half out from the wall allowing light into my room from all sides. I contacted the company asking if they had brackets that would drop the blinds straight down against my door, and they wrote back politely suggesting that I put light blockers on each side. I bought the "black out" blinds to block the light, and now they want me to put 1 and a half inch light blockers all around to do what their product didn't. I would have given them 2 stars, but they work as normal blinds, were easy to install, and customer service did answer my e-mail if not satisfactorily. Laying in bed, with the blinds down, I can see the trees through the gap. The light wakes me up. I need to find a better solution.

Customer service was great, there was a small error in my measuring so they emailed to confirm true size and they fit absolutely perfect. Complete darkness and took 5 minutes or less to install 2 windows!

Beautiful blinds- east to use. I’m NOT handy. I received a couple pages of pictures in lieu of written instructions. I struggled a bit. Anyone that is handy will bust out laughing at the thought that anyone could struggle with these easy to attach blinds. But, I did. 5 stars anyway. They are that nice.

I'm soooo happy with thus blind! My old blind was a "brand" name and had a pull cord on it. Over the years of using the cord, it wore out and I replaced it, twice. I know I needed something without a cord and started searching; home stores, department stores, Internet, etc and found you and boy am I 😊 happy. Purchased through Amazon. Arrived quickly. We were using the Sleepout curtains but the Velcro kept falling off the suction cups so we were looking for a semi-permanent solution to black out the room. I found these and they’re much better than expected. The room gets fairly blacked out and we have black out curtains that make it even better. These are high quality and very easy to install. We’re thinking about buying them for the rest of our bedrooms.
