I only bought one of these initially because I wanted to make sure they worked before I invested the money for all eight windows. At first I put off installing it because I thought it was going to be a PITA. It was SO EASY. It took me 10 minutes tops, and that included finding the ladder and taking the photos for this review. Luckily I was able to use existing screw holes from my previous blinds. But even if I drilled new holes, it would’ve been no problem. The brackets have holes for three screws, but because of the weird way the windows are installed I could only use one screw (directly into wood, not drywall). Even with just one screw per bracket it feels really sturdy. The clips these blinds hang from are of much higher quality than my previous ones. Instead of a piece of metal, they are metal with a sliding piece of plastic that pushes in as you clip on the blind, but pops back out to hold the blind tightly in place. I ordered the white on the outside of the honeycomb with black on the inside. My original blinds were just white double honeycomb. As you can see in the before and after pictures the new ones block much more light. This makes the room darker for sleeping and keeps it cooler in the summer since the windows face directly south. I did not order a custom size because one of the pre-cut in stock sizes fit my windows. If I were to get a custom size, it would’ve cost $100 more! So The pre-cut ones are a really good value for the money, but I don’t know for sure if I would’ve bought this for a custom window. One design improvement I would suggest is that my old blinds had a double honeycomb that undoubtedly insulate better in the winter. These have only a single column of the honeycomb, but I won’t take off a star for that because I knew that when I bought them. I’m definitely going to order seven more!

Don’t you HATE bifold doors? Especially in tight spaces?!? We did, too, so we were looking for a “garage door” sort of barrier to cover our laundry area, and this is what we found. It was easy to install and looks gorgeous! It’s well made and even comes with a telescoping wand to make it easier to pull down and push up. So smooth and stylish!

The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant but went ahead and ordered 7 of these. I was very happy with the quality. We made metal top part, works well. Much better better than the local big box stores. They also had a very large size selection. The black out shades let absolutely no light shine in. I’m really pleased with the shade. I would have given it five stars, but the installation instruction was not enclosed , nor could we find videos for outside mount. It took a while, but we were eventually able to figure it out and it was easy to install. It was also delivered to the wrong address (neighbor’s house). They were out of town; otherwise we would have received it sooner.

This might be the easiest furniture installation that I've done. The blinds also retract perfectly. I don't like the bottom dangling around so I glued two pieces of magnetics to the bottom of the blinds and to the door. Now it's perfect! Since the frame is already in place and it's easy to unhook the blinds, I might just buy another color for the holidays.
