Really an excellent job on a custom order for zebra blinds. I asked for "2 on 1" blinds - basically 2 blinds on one headrail to be mounted over a 62" wide window. After a number of emails back and forth with dimensions and confirmations, Persilux went to work and made me exactly what I was looking for. Excellent, smooth-rolling zebra shades that fit perfectly in my windows and look great. I was initially worried about the quality of these zebra blinds and whether the stripes would align when installed side by side. To my delight, the stripes lined up perfectly, and the blinds look absolutely fabulous in our home! This is the main driver for me leaving a review. They were super easy to install, and I ended up purchasing a total of 9 blinds for various windows. For my two arch windows, I had to get creative with the installation since the standard mounting brackets weren’t suitable for hanging from above the window. I knew the standard brackets wouldn’t work, so I side mounted them by cautiously drilling through the ends (sides) and used spacers to set the perfect spacing as to not put too much side pressure on the plastic end caps. The blinds worked wonderfully and were easy to adapt to my needs. The quality exceeded my expectations, and I’ve added a photo to show how well the blinds align when placed next to each other. I have a super large window in my living room so I had to buy 2 blinds. I measured my windows and divided it in half to get the perfect fit. I got the white color zebra blinds. At first it was alittle hard to install because I am not much of a handy person. It is alittle tricky to click the unit into the tabs that you have to install into the window frame. I like that it gives privacy but you can also still look outside. I have a nosey neighbor that looks into my house all the time so this is perfect!. It kept the cold air out. I love how it looks and the different functionality it provides. No drawstring just push and pull. Really easy to use! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Review of Persilux Cordless Zebra Blinds for Windows Free-Stop Roller Windows Shades (31" W X 64" H, White) Dual Layer Light Control for Day and Night, Light Filtering Sheer Shades for Home, Easy to Install @ $47.99 at time of order. I ordered these for my sunroom/enclosed front porch. This area gets a LOT of sun. There are 2 big windows and a 3rd that is even wider. I ordered 2 for each of the 3 windows. I opted for the blinds without chains since I was using 2 blinds per window instead of one larger blind. Likes: Installation – I am NOT a handyman by any means. These, however, were what I considered easy to install. It took me almost 2 hours to install these by myself, including prep and clean up times. The instructions say to “roll” the blinds into the brackets, but I had to do more of pushing them into place. Note: the spring-loaded ends must go in first into the grooves/tray on the top of the blinds. Build quality – at present, the build quality seems to be good. Aesthetics – these are good looking blinds, especially for the lower cost. Before and after pictures are included for you to form your own opinion. Price – the price of the blinds is reasonable for the quality. Purpose – these do their jobs and serve their purposes very well. They help keep out the bright sun and heat in summer, and I can let the sun warm the room and outer wall of the house in the winter. It is easy to control the amount of light I want to come into the room while easily preventing prying eyes when the blinds are closed. Hardware – installation hardware is provided. The quality of the hardware was acceptable. It should be noted that I did not have to use the anchors for the screws since my window frames are very hard wood and retain the wood screws enough. Instructions – installation instructions were provided. The installation instructions were not the best I’ve seen but not the worst either. They are not the best illustrations or descriptions. Cleaning instructions – the cleaning instructions are to dampen a cloth and wipe the blinds – simple enough. Operation – the blinds operate smoothly and easily. Cordless – a preference for me, these are cordless which makes for less to have problems with later on. Dislikes: Apparently when ordering different sizes, they don’t always match up on the lighting control panels when opened to the same length. My longer blinds appear completely light-filtered in the photos while my shorter blinds do not. Some would say this is petty, but I don’t think it looks as nice when they all don’t match up. This makes it a 4-star product to me when coupled with the instructions, which are not the best. ... show more

I’ll say right off the bat that these blinds look great, function well and are easy to install. But the most important piece of info I can give you is to order a full inch smaller than your window frame measurement. Not only are these blinds almost true to size, but there’s a Phillips screw on each end that adds about 2mm to the length. Furthermore, and this is a problem I had, your window frame may not be “plumb” which means it may be slightly wider where you measured than it is where the blinds will ultimately install. For me, it was narrower at the top, by almost 0.5”. This will likely be the case on older homes that have had multiple blind sets over the years and had holes spackled up and painted over multiple times, or the construction was never plumb to begin with. Anyway, I had to return/exchange 7 of the 11 blinds I ordered because they were too wide by anywhere from 2-10mm. If you order an inch smaller than your window frame, you’re guaranteed good figment, and the 0.5” gap on each side is barely noticeable. And if it really bothers you, you can shove some PVC finishing in there, but it’s really not necessary. In closing, I just don’t want anyone to make the same mistake I did. ... show more
