Out of all the Amazon purchases over the years, I have never given a review. However, I am making an exception this time as I am extremely pleased with Persilux’s roller shades and service. I bought 3 roller shades. Two for the French door and one for the window next to it. I was not sure if the roller shades would work on the French door because the handles might interfere with the operation of the shades. I sent quite a few questions to Persilux. They addressed all my questions promptly prior to my order and accepted my special request. Their customer support and communication were excellent. On top of that, to my surprise, my order arrived in just 5 days. They were all well packed. I really like the texture and the feel of the shades. I am very pleased with the quality of the fabric. The shades fitted perfectly on my window and the French Door. The installation was pretty straight forward. A lot simpler than Ikea! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with the roller shades purchase. I am thinking to order more for other windows in our house.

These blinds are terrific. The material is great thick and strong. Unlike some others that material is very flimsy. It has a strong metal chain, not a plastic chain. Has a nice valence with four hooks to attach to the wall. You cannot see the valence from my photos as my husband made his custom-made to hide behind the door trim. Their customer service is awesome. We ordered ours customized to our size to fit the door trim my husband made. When received we received the wrong color. I emailed them on Christmas Eve 2023 to notify them we had received the wrong color. My husband told me it's the holidays and they will probably not reply until after the holidays. Nope, on Christmas Day they were emailing me back to apologize and to let me know they would ship me the correct one ASAP. We highly recommend them. We love our blind.

These blackout shades are actually quite nice for the price. I mounted on September 6, 2021. They block out almost all the light pouring into my bedroom. See picture showing view from outside of bedroom looking in. Notice how the bedroom is dark compared to the bright light coming into the bathroom to the right. Then see photo showing how bright my bedroom is without blackout shades. As is the trend with all blackout shades, the lateral sides don’t go all the way to the edge of the window, resulting in a tiny bit of light peaking through. But it’s seriously minimal. Coupled with blackout curtains over these blackout shades, I would have complete darkness in my room. The curtains are not necessary at all, but it’s an option. I got a pair of the WHITE 26” inch and mounted them inside window frame. Just make sure you DO NOT mount with the supplied screws. They are really bad quality because if you plan on removing hardware to readjust shades, the screws won’t want to work with the screwdriver as it will start producing magnet shavings when turning screwdriver. In the end the screws won’t unscrew. Trust me on this one, if you can use your own good quality screws please do so or don’t tighten them too hard in case you need to remove. The material in front has a nice texture and should be easy to wipe clean if needed. The back is plain white blackout paper, I suppose. I would recommend as an affordable option :) It’s counterpart, the light filtering roller shade also by Persilux that I used in my living room, instead, are absolutely stunning. I definitely love them more than the blackout shades in the bedroom. But these blackout shades look good and do the job beautifully. I’m happy with them. 4.5 stars because the screws were bad quality and because one of the shades came with a very tiny rip on the back side paper so when looking at it up front, there’s a minuscule peak of sun coming in. I will cover it with white tape and should be solved, but wish I didn’t have to do that with brand new shades, you know.

I ordered these blinds for all three rooms in my house. I bought custom gray blinds for the master room and office and custom coffee color blinds for my Yellowstone themed guest bedroom. Not only did these blinds arrive ahead of schedule but they were easy to install and truly blocked out the sun making for a good nights sleep. I will definitely be ordering more blinds from this company in the future!
