The Pentel EnerGel pens are BY FAR my favorite pen EVER! They glide SOOOO smoothly, and better yet they do not smear! (Well, if you wipe it immediately, it'll smear. But that's with any ink. Of the gel pens, this is the only non-smearer I could find.) The ink is strong and vivid, but still a medium tip. (Some gel pens are a pain because the tip spreads the ink too broadly.) And they require hardly any pressure to write. Just beware - these pink ones do not write in pink ink. Apparently I didn't read the product description very well. All of their other pens write in the ink that the barrel is colored... but not these. The pink one writes in black ink. Bummer. I had some health problems which caused writing to be very painful. These were the only pens I could bear to write with. When I showed up at a dr's appointment, and they wanted me to fill out numerous forms... I couldn't - truly was unable to - use their provided pen. They were a bit surprised when it was filled in with purple ink (from my Pentel EnerGel pen in my purse), and they tried to protest... until I showed them my hands and offered that THEY could fill out the form for me, if they didn't like it done in purple! This pen is cute, and it is true to its photo. As far as writing I do wish it was pink ink but it is black. Overall a good pen with nice grip. Its light and flows very well the only thing I could change or say was I should’ve read better but the ink is definitely not pink.

These are my absolute favorite pens that I've ever used in my life! I found them a couple of years ago while I was working as a DCA (Direct Care Aide) at a nursing home. I used my friends pen one day while filling out charts and stuff, and holy crap I literally fell SO in love with the way these pens felt, how well the glided onto the paper but also had such deep and dark ink. I knew I had to go out and buy myself a whole pack of them the very next day & I did! Lol. It had been a while (at least 3 years), since I had used these pens due to not needing to buy pens anymore, or anything & I forgot what they were called, what they looked exactly like in the package, etc. I wound up trying countless pens which I'd hoped each time were these and that I'd finally found them again but was always sadly mistaken. You can imagine my EXCITEMENT, and pure JOY when I just stumbled upon my favorite, long lost pens again just the other day and not only are they the exact ones I used to have and love so much, but the outside of this pack of the same pens i used to buy, are PINK and for Breast Cancer Awareness!!! My favorite pens just got even more BEAUTIFUL! (No, the ink isn't pink. It's the same perfect and thick black that I explained earlier. But the outside of the pens is beautiful pink with breast cancer awareness symbols on them, just like pictured in the photos of the pens).
