I love purple pens! A friend bought me some of these as a gift last year and I loved them and wanted more. They write great! However, they do not close well (basically won’t close at all after a few uses). Not sure why. Both packages have done this to me. The first package I think it was just one. The second package, it’s happed with every single pen. They don’t dry out, so I still keep using them. But it’s a bit annoying. ... show more

These are my favorite pens to write on rx’s in the pharmacy. They don’t smear and they are very opaque. The only thing I can’t stand is that if I use one color for 2 weeks they die. 2 weeks? I know no pen that lasts that short.

I have used these pens for a few years. I write “morning pages” daily and have gotten into the habit of using different colors on different pages. I really like these. I’m pleased to find these pens significantly less expensive than at office stores.

The BOLD point means I finally get a red pen that shows up when I write with it. And it writes smoothly and beautifully. It looks like an average amount of gel in the pen, so probably comparable to any pentel, pilot, or bic gel pen.
