The main reason I ordered this laundry basket is because it has a lid but it arrived without a LID! I am very disappointed. Send me the LID. Update: I contacted the manufacturer, they are very responsive and they sent me the lid without a charge. Good qualify hamper and excellent customer service!

I had one of those bamboo hampers for years. Immediately after I purchase it, I regretted it because it was flimsey and I knew it wasn't going to keep its form (definitely a style over function kind of deal). I knew the next hamper I was going to get was going to be sturdy. However, finding one that looks nice that doesn't break the budget is difficult. These are such great hampers to keep things sorted. I have an ivory (for whites), a pink (for warm), and I may get a blue one for darks. They are spacious and really hold a lot of dirty laundry..and they’re very sturdy.

I searched for a decent laundry hamper for a long time but the 1-star reviews were terrible on most of them. The 1 and 2-star reviews tell the real story. The prices on decent hampers has more than doubled and the best ones are over $75, which I was not willing to pay. I took a chance on this one and am very pleased with it. After reading the reviews I knew to be VERY careful with the top as it could break easily if you don't open it very gently. After I received it I saw some that were made to look like this one in a discount store. They were half the price but looked so junky/flimsy. I'm glad I got the one I did. ... show more

Unfortunately my first one came with weird marks and residue, but I was able to get a replacement very quickly. I did take one star off because they clearly didn’t properly check a returned item before sending it out to someone else. The replacement is great, exactly what I wanted. My 11 pound cat has jumped on top of it and laid on it so it is fairly sturdy. It holds a good amount on clothes and works exactly as I want it to. This is definitely great for small spaces. It’s so cute and I love that the lid open, so the long way as opposed to the short way if that makes sense, I was able to get my brother to buy one as well because we love it we plan to get more
