    • Good Reel with Great customer service
Pattern Name: No. 4500 High Gear (PE2.5 - 300 m)
Very smooth and quiet reel for casting and for reeling in fish. The fine wrapping of the line helps with casting distance. I am running 30 lb braid on two of these reels. One reel got more wind knots because I was running a different brand of braid. Spider Wire runs fine but the other brand had enough wind knots that u ended up stripping off about 50 feet of line. Then it was OK. No other complaints just realize it is a heavy made real. I use it for reds and catfish, strikers etc Great customer service from Penn ... show more

    • The best of all penn's
Pattern Name: No. 3500 (PE2 - 250 m)
For me, this is the best. The more you use it, the smoother it gets. It is pricey, but it is definitely worth it.
