    • It’s good but not great.
I’ve used it for almost two months and have enjoyed it. My bedroom gets almost no insulation making this a lifesaver. The first setting will warn a small to medium size room in an hour and a half. The second setting will warm a room in 45 minutes. The third setting will warm a room in 20 minutes. When the room warms, the room will eventually get too hot and you’ll have to turn it off or breathing is a little labored. The problem with that is the room loses heat within 15 minutes. So, really, I’ve had to accept running a fan as the same time as the heater most of the time. The air that comes out of it is very dry. It’s a good heater but I’d agree that it’s a little inconvenient and definitely is more of a space heater than anything else. It was relatively easy to assemble, however, it still took me 30 minutes as I’m not very handy. If you want to save money on your electrical bill, I wouldn’t use the second or third level consistently as they require a lot of juice! If you’re worried about noise it’s very quiet.     • Defective Unit + $56 Return Shipping = A Total Scam
I purchased this heater at the beginning of December and used it only a couple of times before it stopped working in April. It was still well within the 12 month manufacturers warranty. I contacted the manufacturer (Pelonis, which is actually a subsidiary of Midea) and jumped through a punch of hoops: uploading the original invoice, sending a video to prove the heater was malfunctioning etc. I wasted probably about an hour of my time on this only to be told by customer service that I would have to send the heater back at my expense (the shipping was $56) and that they would then have to determine if the product was actually defective or if I had "misused" the heater, in order to refund the $65 I paid for it. This is a total scam. Midea is a major company and the only one I have ever dealt with that doesn't honor their warranties. When my Dyson vacuum cleaner stopped working, Dyson paid for the return shipping, the same thing with my Delonghi espresso maker. I was sent a free shipping label. It is unheard of that a major company refuses to honor a warranty by insisting that the consumer pay the return shipping.     • A powerful heater that beats any of the ceramics.
I've gone through a number of room heaters trying to find one that keeps my bedroom warm. This one heats up quickly and radiates a good amount of heat in a short period of time. The only thing that I wish is that it had some kind of a blower in the back. I addressed that by putting a small box fan behind it.
