I wish this one came with a remote but it still met my requirements which were taking up less space and something more quiet. The power of the fan is no better or worse than your typical box fan and puts out plenty of air. The Pelonis fan is super easy to assemble only taking a few minutes without reading any instructions. The color is typical black so nothing fancy. I did take off one star for durability because it is very light and thin plastic but not bothersome enough to return. Easy to set up The fan works super well and its settings are great. 3 different speeds, timer, and it can even turn. Cools down my room nicely and easily can be moved around house It’s sturdy if left alone but I would recommend avoiding knocking it over I’ve accidentally almost knocked it over a few times Highest setting is Not very quiet but the quality of the fan is worth it Low settings are pretty quiet The control also sometimes won’t work on the first try?? Very easy to use and set up. I bought this during the summer, but unfortunately it did not put out too much in my bedroom, I assumed based on the vent design alone that itd put out a wider range but i was wrong, output area is far smaller than what it seems to be. It's very much a silent device though, not noisy in the slightest. And because it does work, I decided to move it to the bathroom which is a far smaller space and keeps the room consistently cold. I'm gonna be honest, I chose this over any of the other brands because I have the sense of humor of a child and thought it would be funny to use a sharpie to black out the L and the O. Yeah, it's a fan and it moves air, but the entertainment value it provides in that regard is priceless.
