I like this tower style fan. Small base and comes to about thigh high. Works really well and isn’t bulky like a regular round fan that has a wide base. Fan has a timer dial and will run for two hours. This is nice energy wise and I use mine in living room so if I walk by I just spin the dial quick to add time if it’s getting low. Maybe not the best option for all rooms. This would not be a great option if you bought it for bedroom because you like to sleep with a fan blowing all night long because it’ll stop after the two hour period…that is unless you are 50+ and get up to go the bathroom few times a night and could always reset it. ... show more

The 30" Pelonis tower fan was exactly what I needed for the bedroom; Very nice, quiet fan with good air flow! Very easy to place the base (2 pieces) and lock with a heavy duty plastic ring. The cord is just above the base which is a great design feature, so there is no struggle with the cord underneath and it sits in a stable position on the floor. It is light weight, low profile (not bulky), and has a convenient carry handle. Able to feel the air flow on all 3 speeds (even up to 12 feet away on low speed), so I don't have to place it right next to the bed, just out of the way in the corner. It runs very quietly and circulates air effectively. I didn't hear any difference in the sound level when oscillating. It oscillates smoothly and quietly. I'm a light sleeper and tend to wake up with other fans on low, but this is quiet enough for me on the middle speed so I can enjoy the increased air flow without waking up. The timer is easy to operate. This model is manual, so no remote, which is fine with me. We don't need any more remote clutter! No need to increase the TV volume while the fan is on level 1 or 2, but level 3- the highest speed- you may need to increase TV volume slightly. I have tried several other mid-sized fans and this Pelonis is the best as far as looks, assembly, functionality, and quiet operation for a bedroom or living room. ... show more

Pros: Amazingly quiet. Lightweight, compact, fits in a small space. Easy-to-use controls. Super-easy assembly (don't look at the instructions, they'll just confuse you. Turn the tower upside down & you'll see right away what to do.). Cons: There are 3 controls for strength of airflow. Honestly, there's very little difference among them. I got this, and it literally took 5 min to put together, you just attach the fan to the base and tighten it…super quick and easy. I don’t have air conditioning in my apartment and this keeps me very cool…and I am always hot! I like the three different speeds, and on all speeds the fan is fairly quiet compared to other fans I own. This works very well, so well that on the highway setting I get chilly with it on. Easy peasy to put together. We had a similar fan for years and it needed to be replaced. This was the closest model to it. It doesn’t disappoint. Nice airflow without being too noisy, several options for level of air flow, oscillating can be turned on or off, no frills just a nice simple can without any digital stuff that eventually breaks and no remotes to get lost or have batteries die in. It does have a timer that resembles an egg timer minus the sound. We don’t use the timer but may be convenient for others. ... show more

This would be a great fan if the entire front of the fan was open. It only gives air out one side of the fan and even though it rotates it still doesn’t give enough air. I bought for my daughter and we are very disappointed in this. It’s a waste of money and time. It does nothing. Now if you are going to use in a baby’s room or for a toddler and you don’t want direct air on them then it serves it’s purpose other than that negative ... show more

Bought this to circulate air from our back room (wood stove) to the rest of the house (kitchen/living room). Our round fan died after several yrs, thought a oscillating tower fan would work better. Received it on 11.30.23, been using every day. Only half of the fan is made for air to come out (see image) and I have it on 3 (high) and it's equal to 1 (low) on my round oscillating pedistal bedroom fan. If you want a fan to sit directly on you or a min of 5' from you, then this is the fan for you. If you are expecting this fan to move air for a room or room to room, this is not the fan for you. ... show more
