I’ve used these lines all summer and they are a god send. I would say you need to plan your irrigation system where you have no hard stops in your lines. Basically you have a circle around your intended watering area that loops back around to the starting point with any additional hose coming from the bottom of the T connector in the center of the circle and reconnecting back to the other side of the circle. Like a bridge. And don’t connect additional lines from strait across the top of the T. It will blow out, or worse, mess up your water pressure and you will spend hours trying to figure it out. Do not use full strength directly from your water hose spigot. Will blow out. Would recommend getting a pressure regulator. Not too expensive or fancy. You can also just turn the hose a single 360° twist. Get a timer. It doesn’t have to be fancy. But I’ve accidentally left it on (several times) for a reaaaally long time and that’s never fun. If you live in a hotter climate, or days reach over 85°F, you should not run this in direct sunlight or during the hottest parts of the day. The links will re-melt and you will have to cut and reapply to get them sealed again. I suggest getting extra small/small sized zip ties to help attach at the main water connection point at least, where the quick connection is, as this has been the one I’ve had to refit most often. All in all. Price was right. I’ve still got many yards of piping and lots of accessories left over. The product itself is still looking brand new and has its gloss. Colored prices are still bright and working. Will store for the winter though. Instructions were dicy but can be figured out. There is a lot of feet of hose to work with and I would say it was quite unmanageable because the hose came in a coiled ‘plate’ without anything in the center to help work it off the roll. This is coming from someone who has never done an irrigation system before so hope this will help others with any trouble shooting and help free you from frustration.

This 226FT Garden Drip Irrigation Kit is a good system and seems like good quality set up, but be prepared to spend at least a whole weekend to install it. Also be sure you keep all the parts in some container and drag it with you during the installation otherwise you start loosing them very quickly. It does work in the end and I might think that the money and the time to install it will be well spent, but it all depends on how long it will last. As of right now I am comparing it to the soaker hoses which are extremely fast and easy to install, but they generally do not last more than 2 years and have to be replaced, but since the installation is super easy then it is not such a big deal except financial cost will be adding up every two years. However, if this system will be failing every two years then it is not only financial cost ads up, but also you will be looking at ton of time spent for a painful set up process. So I am undecided on this type of irrigation yet. I will be recommending it if it lasts, but it is yet to be seen.

I have some drip irrigation parts that I've bought separately, hose, connectors, drippers. I like this kit because it's all in one place. It's hard to figure out how many of these and how many of those do I need and it ends up costing a lot. This kit makes it so easy, all the parts I need in one box. There were plenty of sprayer and drippers, hose and connectors to supply my area how I wanted it. Very good quality, should last a long time.

This irrigation kit has everything you need to set up your own drip irrigation. The kit is easy to use and I was able to check the listing to see which nozzle/fitting/tip did what exactly to make my plan. The thin tubing is the perfect size to safely run across the sidewalk in an expansion joint to the “hellstrip”. Can’t speak yet to longevity but so far would recommend this kit to DIY your own irrigation!
