Description

Made In Italy. The Viaggio Flex 120 has the unique capability to fully accommodate a child's growth with its 4D Total Adjust Technology. This means the booster can be adjusted in four different locations: 1) the headrest can adjust to five different positions vertically, 2) the upper backrest adjusts three positions vertically, 3) the side wings can expand out three positions, 4) the seat can recline five positions. These adjustments can be made independently from each other, allowing for a truly original experience in comfort. Securing the Viaggio Flex 120 to the car is made easier with the integrated rigid LATCH, equipped with a blind lock attaching system which prevents the seat from being accidentally released by another passenger. The rigid LATCH can tuck back into the base, allowing for an easy installation with just the seat belt. An aluminum-reinforced backrest ensures safety and protection against whiplash in the case of a front-end accident and additional protection in the event of a rear-end collision. Kinetic pods help to move forces away from your baby in case of a side collision. EPS throughout the side wings and headrest also serves to absorb energy during a crash. The backrest of the Viaggio Flex 120 can fold down onto itself when not in use, even while attached via rigid LATCH. Transporting and storing the seat is also made easier because of the folding capability, making the booster one of the most practical around. Two, practical cup holders fold into the base of the car seat. Energy-absorbing foam, Expanded Poly Styrene, in head rest and side wings protect child’s head and torso from impact forces.. • Absolutely THRILLED!
Color: Licorice Style: Car Seat
I am so pleasantly surprised! Searched for weeks looking for booster seats for my petite 5 year old. As the 4th child you’d think it wouldn’t be such a challenge, but different kid, different needs, different phase of life. He’s a petite kid, so I didn’t want anything too big and unsupportive, and I didn’t want arm rests because I needed him to be able to begin buckling and unbuckling himself for school pickups/drop offs starting in fall. There’s hardly any no arm test options so it came down to this and the Maxi Cosi. I am SO glad I went with this, even at $100 more, I couldn’t be happier. First: The rigid latch is just genius. Such a time saver and so smart. It’s really lightweight yet feels super solid and super safe. The seat part is sooo squishy and soft! So are the headwings, which don’t protrude too much. I didn’t love that the Maxi’s was air filled which was another reason I chose Peg. I love the multi adjustment as he grows and the recline feature is AWESOME!! Works even latched in! He’s just turned 5 but still naps and sleeps in the car so this is really great. The practically invisible pull out cup holders also genius. The licorice color we got blends seamlessly with my interior with its leather accents. So luxurious! Overall I just can not find a single complaint. He’s perfectly snug and safe. I’m not a fan of moving him out of a 5 point but with school and such it’s almost a must. I feel he’s really safe in this seat! ... show more

  • Great design for taller toddlers, Easy ingress and egress as well
Color: Licorice Style: Car Seat
Our grandbaby was outgrowing the car seat, often complaining everything was too tight and felt squished in, despite the straps and cushions at the limits of adjustment. I started searching for a suitable replacement, one that is of course, very safe, and yet easier for grandbaby to get in and out of. This is wonderful seat, well designed, well made, and adjustable for both height and width growth. It is easy to put in the car using the two clip things that snap onto the child seat latches in our car/truck, making it easy to move from one vehicle to another. Grandbaby loves it as view out the window is now unobstructed by padded wings. Don't get me wrong our previous car seat was great too, snug that baby right in and down tight restricting almost all movement, I often compared putting the grandbaby in the car seat with all the buckles and straps to my experience driving a stock car many years ago where the crew member shoves you down and holds you while buckling you in. Anyway I digress, grandbaby loves the new ride and I love the easy to use features. Hope this helps you decide. ... show more

  • Awesome design and features
Color: Crystal Black Style: Car Seat
This booster carseat is a total game changer. I had been using a backless booster for my 6 yr old grandchild and I was not happy with it at all. This seat was a little on the pricey side but after a lot of research I decided to buy it. Turned out to be a great decision. This seat is very generous in size yet has a compact footprint in the car. Super easy to install, love the rigid latch system. The adjustments are very simple to accommodate the size of your child and it's easy to buckle the seatbelt around. Granddaughter states its very comfortable and her head stays up when she falls asleep on long rides. Perfect seat for us. ... show more

  • Even better than Clek - And that says something!
Color: Licorice Style: Car Seat
I'm a car seat psycho (for safety) and I've tried multiples of every version of seat (infant, convertible, HBB...) to find the very best of the best. After 3 different HBBs, this Peg Flex is the holy grail. Here's why: It doesn't have arm rests so your kid can actually do the buckle unassisted. This is huge because you go from a kid that can do their convertible seat straps to a kid that needs to be assisted in finding the buckle every.single.time. in every boosterthat has arm rests. This seat and the Maxi Cosi Rodifix are thus winners in this category. The Flex has a more narrow footprint than others because it doesn't have armrests. Need 3 kids to ride? Need 2 to sit next to one another? You're golden. You can park the Flex next to a variety of seats without issue. I have one next to a Nuna Pipa and a Clek Foonf in a Land Rover Discovery (which doesn't have the broadest back seat). The Flex adjusts in 4 directions so your picky big kid can decide exactly how the seat is best for them. As with all Peg Perego products, the fabrics are OUTSTANDING. We have the "licorice" version of the Flex, which is a combo of really soft, highly padded fabrics touching the body and edges with really gorgeous leather finished with white top stitching. This seat isn't more expensive than its competitors, buy it looks and feels like it should be. Super gorgeous, even if you have a luxury car-quality interior. This seat "makes my buns feel the happiest of any car seat I've ever had!" per my 7 year old. If that isn't a rousing endorsement, I don't know what is. The seat belt shoulder clip is well-designed so that the belt easily pulls through and retracts without issue (this was a constant issue with the RodiFix, the Oobr, and, to a lesser extent, the Britax Parkway in both my Honda Odyssey and the Discovery). The folding mechanism seems like a "so what" feature, but is actually really handy. I've used it a handful of times in only a few weeks as I've found myself suddenly needing cargo room. I just remove and fold up the Flex, park it on the front floor, and collapse it's 2nd row seat. Super easy and quick. The latch release and install lever is also delightfully straightforward to use. All in all, there isn't anything to complain about with this seat. Not even the little pull out cup holders. They're not indestructible, but most European-made seats don't even offer an add on option (like the RodiFix). I also don't mind that there's no bottom as I won't ever have to discover some sort of weird goo science experiment at the bottom of one! ... show more

  • Perfect for our bigger kiddo
Color: Licorice Style: Car Seat
My son is 10. He’s 4’ 4” and 86lbs. He has severe autism and a few other medical issues. Up until now he has been in a 5 point harness. We struggled with finding something safe to use as a booster. The fact that I can adjust the height and width separately is great. The cup holders are flimsy so we don’t dare use them and the sides feel like they may break if he pushes off of them to get out of the car. But overall we are very pleased with the seat. Bonus points for the fact it s a slim design so it doesn’t cover up the seatbelt when I’m trying to buckle him in. ... show more
