Description

Made In Italy. The Viaggio Flex 120 has the unique capability to fully accommodate a child's growth with its 4D Total Adjust Technology. This means the booster can be adjusted in four different locations: 1) the headrest can adjust to five different positions vertically, 2) the upper backrest adjusts three positions vertically, 3) the side wings can expand out three positions, 4) the seat can recline five positions. These adjustments can be made independently from each other, allowing for a truly original experience in comfort. Securing the Viaggio Flex 120 to the car is made easier with the integrated rigid LATCH, equipped with a blind lock attaching system which prevents the seat from being accidentally released by another passenger. The rigid LATCH can tuck back into the base, allowing for an easy installation with just the seat belt. An aluminum-reinforced backrest ensures safety and protection against whiplash in the case of a front-end accident and additional protection in the event of a rear-end collision. Kinetic pods help to move forces away from your baby in case of a side collision. EPS throughout the side wings and headrest also serves to absorb energy during a crash. The backrest of the Viaggio Flex 120 can fold down onto itself when not in use, even while attached via rigid LATCH. Transporting and storing the seat is also made easier because of the folding capability, making the booster one of the most practical around. Two, practical cup holders fold into the base of the car seat. Energy-absorbing foam, Expanded Poly Styrene, in head rest and side wings protect child’s head and torso from impact forces.. • Best high back booster for older/taller children especially, better in every aspect than competition Best high back booster for older/taller children especially, better in every aspect than competition
Color: Mon Amour
I wrote a longer review on the Shuttle Plus, but we ended up keeping both the flex and shuttle plus. Both are exceptional products head and shoulders above the rest of the pack, better in literally every way from any of the other older child dedicated boosters we tried. Maximum adjustability, tallest height accommodation, easiest and sturdiness installation, best comfort and protection by a mile. The flex is almost identical to the shuttle plus, but has the advantage of no arm rest making it easy for my daughter to buckle herself. We intend to keep our children in high back seats for as long as possible based in the studies that show no protection from backless seats, and 60% reduction of injuries from high back seats. This one has the Best fit, best comfort, easiest installation, easily fits 3 across, super high build quality, and able to accomodate taller children easily unlike most other boosters. I am extremely thankful for Peg creating this product to help protect my child as much as possible. Highest possible recommendation for this product. ... show more

  • Impressive! Impressive!
Color: Crystal Black
I love this booster. It’s sturdy and high quality. The height and width are widely adaptable to truly fit larger kids. My kids are 4’4” and 4’5”, they both fit with more room to grow. My daughter had grown out of her Chicco Kidfit, and my son was close to growing out of it despite being well under the height and weight maximums, and still needing boosters for 4-5” of growth. I believe this Peg Perego will fit to the actual maximums. I love how much space is inside this booster with the narrow profile! Both my 9 and 10 year old can use it on the narrowest setting. This seat did not work in my Chevy Cruze, the roof of my car curves down and the headrest of the booster hits at my kid’s current heights. In our Prius there is still quite a bit of room above the headrest for continued expansion. I’ve attached pictures of the booster next to a measuring tape, I couldn’t find measurements of the height and depth of the side-wings anywhere and I think the measurements are helpful when trying to figure out if seats will puzzle well. Here, I have the booster puzzled nicely next to a rather high profile rear facing convertible. Not much room to buckle, but it would have fit if I had more head space in that vehicle. One thing I wish was different is the seat depth. As you can see, my child could use more seat depth, but he says it’s comfortable and doesn’t mind. Also, we noticed that the seat offers more support of his thighs when the seat is reclined, we are happy with that option. One other shortfall of this delivery was that the seat arrived already almost a year old. The seat is being advertised as a 12 year expiration and while that amount of time seems abundant for a booster, it was a huge advantage for me as I need a booster for my big kids for maybe 2 years, and a new baby for up to 12 years from now. This is a great booster! ... show more

  • Buy it and don’t look back!
Color: Licorice
I was hesitant to spend this much on a booster seat, but we have 2 driving factors: 1-this has to last us through 4 kids, so quality, safety and a safe long expiry are all essential to us. The Peg Perego brand is amazing; we have the infant carrier and it still looks like new even nearly 7 years later which is impressive, even our delivery OB (we just had baby #4) saw it and asked if it was brand new!). We also have Peg Perego in a convertible and it is wearing amazingly well as well. 2-ease of cleaning, again going through 4 kids...we opted for the leather and I’d no doubt do that over and over again. Back with baby #1 we opted for an “extra” convertible (Graco) for our second car and just 4 years later it looks like absolute heck...and will even be expiring next year which puts us in a predicament to have to buy yet another convertible just before our qualifying kid is ready for this booster...had we just bit the bullet and stayed with Peg Perego we wouldn’t have that issue and we’d be all set with no money lost! Agh hindsight is 20/20. This booster we opted for the non-removing high back for more safety since our current qualifying kid is on the younger and smaller side of the growth spectrum. We eventually will purchase the backless booster as our oldest grows and we shuffle the kids through all the car seats and boosters. This high-back booster looks amazing and feels amazing (according to our son), and he’s always so excited to go for car rides because it looks “big boy” for him and he can easily buckle himself in the way-back. It also is super easy to travel with and remove quick when more cargo space is needed. The only con I’d say is that it comes with the LATCH locks which I thought was really great, but upon installation we realized that our car model (VW Atlas) dissuades using those for boosters..so the LATCH locks are useless for us but that’s really not a big deal and wouldn’t have changed our decision in the slightest. So, stick with Peg Perego. You will not be disappointed! ... show more

  • Great seat, needs a proper travel bag though
Color: Crystal Black
One of the best things about this seat, in addition to the high scores on safety, is how compact it folds, which makes it perfect for travel. Peg Perego’s travel bag for it is just a flimsy sack, more like a dust bag. This needs a proper travel bag, a padded backpack or a padded rolling duffle. The seat itself is great, fits the child’s body just right thanks to being highly adjustable, and it’s lifted up a bit which allows little ones to look out the window. It’d get 5 stars if we could haul it around without it getting trashed by the airlines. ... show more

  • Absolutely THRILLED! Absolutely THRILLED!
Color: Licorice
I am so pleasantly surprised! Searched for weeks looking for booster seats for my petite 5 year old. As the 4th child you’d think it wouldn’t be such a challenge, but different kid, different needs, different phase of life. He’s a petite kid, so I didn’t want anything too big and unsupportive, and I didn’t want arm rests because I needed him to be able to begin buckling and unbuckling himself for school pickups/drop offs starting in fall. There’s hardly any no arm test options so it came down to this and the Maxi Cosi. I am SO glad I went with this, even at $100 more, I couldn’t be happier. First: The rigid latch is just genius. Such a time saver and so smart. It’s really lightweight yet feels super solid and super safe. The seat part is sooo squishy and soft! So are the headwings, which don’t protrude too much. I didn’t love that the Maxi’s was air filled which was another reason I chose Peg. I love the multi adjustment as he grows and the recline feature is AWESOME!! Works even latched in! He’s just turned 5 but still naps and sleeps in the car so this is really great. The practically invisible pull out cup holders also genius. The licorice color we got blends seamlessly with my interior with its leather accents. So luxurious! Overall I just can not find a single complaint. He’s perfectly snug and safe. I’m not a fan of moving him out of a 5 point but with school and such it’s almost a must. I feel he’s really safe in this seat! ... show more

  • PEG Changed Product Without Notice! PEG Changed Product Without Notice!
Color: Licorice
Update: Just an update that this is absolutely not a fake, as confirmed by two different high ups in peg Perego. They have totally changed the design, the colors of the belt guides, and the quality of the car seat in my opinion is lower. All WITHOUT updating any of their websites, selling platforms, or social media with new descriptions or pictures. OF COURSE we are upset ordering what is pictured and the same description that is supposed to be the same exact one that we already have with the same color name and model number...and we receive a TOTALLY different color combo, seat design, worse padding, and lowered quality. The stitching is a mess, the padding is not even, and it feels rickety, which is The one that we have currently that is the same model number and color combination (That's the original design and color combo) is not. Thankfully, I'm able to order one of the last ones that they have in stock of the old design (black with the red stripe down the middle) and a slightly different color. But this is not what people want. Peg Perego is famous for not only their safety, but the sleekness and unobtrusive design that goes well in luxury cars and anyone's car. Absolutely zero people want a Robin's egg blue belt guides with these sleek car seats. The redesign also looks terrible. PEG on the front is well known to anyone who's ever had a medical procedure as the laxative that they give you and that's all I can think about when I look at it because it looks exactly the same. Who the heck made this decision?! This feels like it's an AI decision because absolutely no one that is a real person would have approved or thought this was a good idea. Not the design, not the color combos, none of it. It looks significantly cheaper in every way, and the color only adds insult to injury. So incredibly disappointed in every way. Not the least of which that PEG didn't update their websites or social media platforms and are STILL posting pictures on All of their social media platform with the old colors and design, but what you are going to get is going to look totally different and be a slightly lower quality if not much lower. I have no idea how much they changed it, but it is not the same quality as the one that we have that we bought a year ago. And they even have the audacity to act surprised both times that I spoke with somebody that I would be upset about this. Would you be upset if you ordered a red dress and got a blue one? Would you be upset if you ordered something that was supposed to be of a certain design and you got something totally different? ABSOLUTELY! This needs fixed immediately. And you're also going to need to end up going back to the old design. I have a feeling a lot of these are going to get returned. Original: I want to start by saying we have this exact same model of this exact same booster seat that we ordered directly from Peg A year and a half ago. According to their website, their social media, and all recent manufacturing data I can find, it is manufactured exactly the same, looks the same, and is built exactly the same. I ordered off of their storefront here on Amazon, because the seat was going to get to us much quicker, and we wanted it for our new car as quickly as possible. So in other words, we now have two cars and wanted one in each. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box that came and it was nothing like it's supposed to be. It's not even the same color or design as the pictures on here were the same designer color has listed on any of their websites in any country. The seat belt guides are a blue-green, as well as the side blank tags attached to the seat. The manufacturing sticker and all of that also does not look like the one that we have, and either do the instructions or warranty card. The padding in the bottom of the seat is also far less and the stitching is very suspect. If this is a real Viaggio, I cannot find evidence of a legitimate seat in this color and design manufactured in any country right now by the company. I should have known that something was up when it was $50 cheaper than anywhere else that you could buy. They have not discounted a seat in almost never do and it's been the same price for years. I have reached out to Amazon and Peg to let them know and hopefully I will get some answers, but I highly discourage anyone from buying this particular model right now from the Amazon storefront and I actually hesitate to ever buy from their Amazon storefront again because of this experience. The last thing I want is for my child or anyone else's to possibly be put in an unsafe fake car seat. And if for some reason this is a legitimate car seat, shame on the manufacturer and Amazon for not updating the look and change and design so that people do not worry about authenticity and safety. But again, nowhere in my research have I been able to find this color or design in particular being sold in any country. I've only seen this color on fake websites for fake product. We went ahead and ordered another one directly through Peg on their website, as that's what we did last time. That's on the way and if something is different I will update this review. But I have yet to hear back from PEG or Amazon regarding these very serious issues. ... show more

  • Even better than Clek - And that says something!
Color: Licorice
I'm a car seat psycho (for safety) and I've tried multiples of every version of seat (infant, convertible, HBB...) to find the very best of the best. After 3 different HBBs, this Peg Flex is the holy grail. Here's why: It doesn't have arm rests so your kid can actually do the buckle unassisted. This is huge because you go from a kid that can do their convertible seat straps to a kid that needs to be assisted in finding the buckle every.single.time. in every boosterthat has arm rests. This seat and the Maxi Cosi Rodifix are thus winners in this category. The Flex has a more narrow footprint than others because it doesn't have armrests. Need 3 kids to ride? Need 2 to sit next to one another? You're golden. You can park the Flex next to a variety of seats without issue. I have one next to a Nuna Pipa and a Clek Foonf in a Land Rover Discovery (which doesn't have the broadest back seat). The Flex adjusts in 4 directions so your picky big kid can decide exactly how the seat is best for them. As with all Peg Perego products, the fabrics are OUTSTANDING. We have the "licorice" version of the Flex, which is a combo of really soft, highly padded fabrics touching the body and edges with really gorgeous leather finished with white top stitching. This seat isn't more expensive than its competitors, buy it looks and feels like it should be. Super gorgeous, even if you have a luxury car-quality interior. This seat "makes my buns feel the happiest of any car seat I've ever had!" per my 7 year old. If that isn't a rousing endorsement, I don't know what is. The seat belt shoulder clip is well-designed so that the belt easily pulls through and retracts without issue (this was a constant issue with the RodiFix, the Oobr, and, to a lesser extent, the Britax Parkway in both my Honda Odyssey and the Discovery). The folding mechanism seems like a "so what" feature, but is actually really handy. I've used it a handful of times in only a few weeks as I've found myself suddenly needing cargo room. I just remove and fold up the Flex, park it on the front floor, and collapse it's 2nd row seat. Super easy and quick. The latch release and install lever is also delightfully straightforward to use. All in all, there isn't anything to complain about with this seat. Not even the little pull out cup holders. They're not indestructible, but most European-made seats don't even offer an add on option (like the RodiFix). I also don't mind that there's no bottom as I won't ever have to discover some sort of weird goo science experiment at the bottom of one! ... show more
