I wanted to connect my computer to my 4k LED TV but my video card had only 1 free output available and it was a Displayport socket. Like all modern TVs, the one I have has many open HDMI ports, but no Displayport for input. No problem - I ordered one of these DisplayPort to HDMI cables and it was as easy as plugging each end into each device. Now I have full 4k output on my 49" LED TV coming from my computer. The cable itself feels like it's made with good materials, the connectors fit in perfectly, and the cable is a little on the thicker side but still flexible. I had previously tried the 10-ft version of this cable for my living room/HTPC setup, and it worked so well that I bought this shorter 6-foot cable for my garage. Just like the first cable, getting my garage PC to connect to the nearly LED TV was as easy as plugging each end into each device.
