As I am not a Dr. please check with your pediatrician on the pros and cons for your individual situation and needs for your child! My child's pediatrician recommended this for my 9-year-old who struggles to put on weight for his age/growth chart; and since He has been actively drinking them at 2x a day since June to current (July) He has put on 7 pounds. I do wish the cost was friendlier (without having to do a subscription) since these are needs for some children and it does get costly; however, the results have been well worth it.
