I have used this for my two husky pups for almost a year now. It has held up rather well. I do wish they sold it in a bigger size. Would also like the opening to be a little bigger for ice. That is why the four stars. Once you squeeze it together to get water out and close the valve it will not sit flat on the ground. Now you can take the lid off to put air back in to set on the ground. I don't have time for that with two thirsty huskies. So I end up holding it while getting water splashed all over me. It holds enough water for them to have a good drink after a hike. I have never had a problem with leaking. It is a good product but they could improve it. It does function like they intended. Like I said great concept now please improve it.

I wanted to like this product. PROS: The locking mechanism seems to work well and I had no trouble with leaks. CONS: Unfortunately, I just find it troublesome to use--so much so that I've gone back to using a nalgene with a collapsible silicone bowl. The bottle itself is a bit difficult to squeeze; when the bowl is filled with water, it must be stabilized while a dog drinks out of it (not ideal at ground level, especially with a dog that wants some space when he drinks); it is quite slow to drain back down into the bottle.

I researched a lot of these and I came to the conclusion to buy this one it seemed to be a couple dollars more but it really wasn't after you took off the coupon it was exactly the same as the others. The only thing I would change is I would put a little lip on the food compartment so you can fit a little bit more. None of these on the market should be washed in the dishwasher. This one fits in a cup holder it may only fit in the large part of a cup holder if you have those type but it fits. It's very easy to use and it's thought out very well. If you're on the fence between this one and the one that has all three variables I would say buy this one and if you really want the bag dispenser you can fit two poop bags in the treat dispenser or you can tie them or put them under a handle or your pocket. The way this one works and flows is superior to the others. I have already shown all my friends and pups friends

I have another water bottle just like this, but it has a switch function instead of buttons you press. So you just switch/toggle it from open to close. This one has buttons that you have to push to open and close. I got this one because I bring my dog a lot of places and I liked the idea of having a little tray underneath to store treats or food. But I don't like the buttons; they can easily get pressed when carrying it around, so it can easily open and the bottle will leak. The switch function on the other bottle is much more secure, so I really prefer that one. If this one had the switch instead, it'd be perfect.
