Spend the money, use small deck screws....these lights are worth the price! Lights are super easy to install . I chose the motion detection option and they still work just as strong a year later. The lights in motion detection are not as bright as the other 2 settings but as you can see in the photo, they are plenty bright even on that setting. I installed 3 on these deck stairs, which are in full sun from Noon to sunset. I knocked one star off Overall rating because the screws are cheap and useless (heads strip too easily) if you're not installing them into a softer wood and I had to glue (gorilla glue) one of the solar panels onto one of the lights 2 months after the install. Otherwise, I'll certainly buy again! ... show more

I Absolutely Love Them , However I Dislike that They are In my Yard Sometimes at FULL SUNLIGHT And Still Sometimes Don't Get charged and Some Come On at Night and Some Don't, However The Next Night they All Came On.. so it is Iffy But they Give GREAT light and Make My Backyard Look Fantastically Lit as Soon as you Walk in.. I also Tried Putting Some On My Staircase To Light up as I Came Downstairs at Night Same Problem.. So Inside A No No But Outside Great.. I Love Them.. ... show more
