  • Missing child

Bought this for my kid and I haven't seen him in weeks. He is in his room and I can't get him off his darn computer. So, 5 stars for giving this tired mom a break.

  • I love it!
Platform For Display: Xbox One
I have been wanting one of these for a while, I finally bought one and so far it's great! I was a little worried because it seems to have mixed reviews, but I have no complaints. All the buttons are very responsive, easy to press, and have a full range of motion. Note that it is a wired only controller and will not work unless plugged in, unlike the Xbox standard controllers. There are 4 LEDs affixed to the control board and they're very bright and give off very vibrant color. You can also very easily customize the color though the PDP app. You select a color on a color wheel. You can also adjust the lighting intensity if it's too bright for you or you can shut it off completely. I attached photos of just a few colors to show vibrance. Note that it is bright in my room so they don't look as vibrant as they actually are. I have been using my standard Microsoft xbox one controller for a few years and transitioning to this one was no problem. They look almost identical to each other, with the only obvious difference being the Xbox home button. On this controller, the home button is rounded and not illuminated. Other than this, they are the same size and all the buttons are in the same place. The PDP app is also right in the Xbox store and is very easy to use. Through the app you can remap the buttons, update the firmware, run diagnostics tests, etc. It's very useful. I will update if anything goes wrong with this controller, but so far I LOVE this controller and am glad I bought it! ... show more

  • The afterglow Standard.
Platform For Display: Xbox One
If youve never bought an afterglow. You're gonna be impressed it easily compares to a "almost as good a brand new xbox Brand" If you've bought the 360 afterglow like i did. You're gonna feel like 360 products were made better like a old man talking about how cars used to be. Pros: its best bang for your buck & to many people its a crowd pleaser. Cons: most shooters & many games have the left joystick button a sprint in which the Only button to have a rough hard unnerving click when put to use is that part of the controller. I do believe it might be a particular controller & perhaps dozens more of these don't make that click. Thus would i buy again. If something weird happens such as it spontaneously catches fire than no. However i suspect my next purchase for gaming accessories to be Afterglow. You should buy this too before buying any xbox brand premade styled controllers too. ... show more

  • good but annoying
Platform For Display: Xbox One
Every time I turn on the Xbox, I'm required to unplug the controller and plug it back in just to get audio go through my headset. A few months later, one morning I turn on the Xbox and did the usual, I put on my headset and got a very high pitched noise going through my right ear, I know it's not my headset since I've plugged it in different devices, I unplugged the USB and plugged it back in. I still got the high pitch noise, sometimes I can hear certain things but they are very distorted and hurts my ear. overall quality is good, but buttons are very loud and my mic seems to pick it up, it annoys the crap out of my friends. One month later, it turns off on its own by the position of the cable, the cable is so awful I wished it wasn't detachable. WARNING: ONCE THE CABLE IS IN, NEVER DETACH IT Update: I forgot to mention, the controller gave me a lot of electrical shocks when I started getting the high pitched noise. ... show more

  • Quick disconnect for zoomie blast-off cats!! Great!!
Platform For Display: Xbox One
These usually last me for about two years, however that’s longer than other brands I’ve had in the past (I play daily.) I just got my third one of these, works fine as always. Usually the rubber on the joysticks will rub down, the base of the joysticks will become worn, and the plug for the wire gets so it’s loose and disconnects... however that last one could be because it’s had to suddenly disconnect after falling or cats with late night zoomies tripping over it. The cord is fairly long too, so unless you’re one of those weirdos with your couch all the way across the room it ought to be long enough. The app (which you’ll need to install in order to cycle colors and adjust vibrations) is easy to use and can be programmed with several different saves. Not sure why you’d want different colors for different games but whatever. I just leave it to cycle through the colors. The color has never faded or crapped out, so that’s another plus. I’ve never had one of these due completely so I don’t know how long they’ll last ‘till death. Cheap enough to justify replacing every few years. ... show more
