This is a rigid arch and does not have much cushion at all since it is a true orthotic insert. The arch is sturdy and provides the required support. We put it in a flat bed shoe, so it worked fine, but we did not try it in a show with a built-in arch. Overall, feet did not hurt at the end of the day.

I'm 60 and had flat feet my entire life. I've used so many insoles from custom made to over the counter ones. The problem was the good ones were all made of rigid plastic of some sort and I broke all of them. I've been in construction since the early 80's, so my back, knees and feet are less than great. These PCSsole 3/4 insoles are the best yet. They're flexible yet strong, not just padding, and very comfortable. I love them and the price is fantastic! I highly recommend them!

They help to relieve my arch pain. I do think they are a bit wide. I could have gone down a size. I ordered the size reccomended. I wear an 8-8.5 USA women's size running shoe. The reccomended the next size up from the smallest one. I could have gone down a size and I think it would have been better. I mostly wear barefoot shoes that are pretty wide and not very structured all the way down and these still push on the sides of my shoes. I'm thinking about a smaller pair to see of its better because it does help. They are not soft at all. They are a rigid peice of plastic meant to keep the foot aligned and arch elevated. They easily skipped into my shoes and minimally took up space with my thin foam inserts. With my thicker inserts and my insulated insoles, they made the back of the shoe too low on my heel on some shoes. I don't find that they slip when your foot is in the shoe. I would reccomended trying them.

Wonderful inserts if you have a high arch. Impossible to find elsewhere. 3/4 size fits easily in all my shoes while leaving plenty of room for the front of the foot. Do not be intimidated by the odd look of them. They are very similar to my podiatrist made ones. If you are not used to rigid supports, wear them just a few hours at first.

While they may be comfortable for others, they didn't fit the bill for me. As a long-time user of Rx orthotics, I did not find these comfortable. I didn't like the way my weight was distributed while walking.

I have very high arches, and these fit perfectly in my shoes and on my arch. It took away the pain in my foot and leg, and I don’t even notice I’m wearing them. I like that I can easily move them to whichever shoes I’m wearing. I have worn the first pair for a year, and the still work great. I liked them so much that I bought more.

I have truly high arches, but I also have a genetic condition that makes my connective tissue crap, so as soon as I bear weight, my feet flatten like a pancake. I have custom orthotics, but I just wanted additional backupa to be able to keep in some of my favorites. I've bought dozens over the years that were never actually high. But these are!! And they aren't overly padded so you don't have to go up a show size to be able to use them. I ended up buying four pairs!
