If your tank is completely empty it takes a little bit to move the needle, but once it starts moving it isn’t too bad. Only issue is the temp goes up pretty quick on it, even with the cooling fan that is built in it.

I've has this for about a month now. It's filled a air venturi avenger from 0 to 4300 psi twice.. and from about 2000 back up to 4300 about 2 dozen times with no problems. The power supply for 120V AC is external and cheaply built but like the title says... so far so good. I hope this thing works out in the long run. If not I'll update my review. If I were you and looking for a cheaper pcp air compressor.. its worth taking a chance on this one. I did buy the 3 year warranty though. As should you. JUST IN CASE. ... show more

So far so so good! Filled my Gauntlet all weekend. Seems like quality. I checked all screws and connections. I try not to run it to hard, only letting temp get to about 40C. Will update when and if it breaks

The media could not be loaded. Relatively easy to operate. I bought this unit as a backup when my Umarex Ready Air had to go back for warranty repair. Is it as quick or user friendly as the Umarex, Not at all! However it's less than half the cost. It will take a Gauntlet 2 in .25 from 0 psi (new straight from the box) to 4,500 psi in about 25 minutes. The auto shut off functions as it should. My Benjamin WoodWalker P-rod .22 goes from 1,800 psi to 3,000 psi in under 10 minutes. It takes a Seneca Aspen back to full pressure in about 10 minutes also. I have also been several paint ball tanks for neighborhood kids with it. It fills them as well. Cons: It's not as quick as the Ready Air. It's definitely uglier It's a lot louder. The fan itself is quiet but when you switch the compressor on the pump noise is quite annoying. Pros: It does the job It is less than half the cost of the Umarex! It's lighter than the high end compressors. With the cost savings you can buy other weights of ammo and really get your pcp rig really dialed in. ***Update Umarex replaced my unit with a brand new unit.*** See photos and video for side by side comparison and to hear the operating noise difference. ... show more
